I have found that this toner works better in my HP LaserJet MFPM479fdw than other brands. I am very satisfied.

HP has you by the you know what and they don't care since they can sell these products for whatever the market will pay. So bend over and let HP stick it to you.Where can you buy stuff for your old printer elsewhere?

HP Quality

I print mostly black and white so got the higher capacity Black cartridge. Decided to go with HP rather than refills / compatible to avoid any problems. The higher capacity color cartridges probably don't make sense unless you print a lot of full color pages with things like pictures. So far no issues.

My wife has two home based businesses, and does a lot of printing because of that. Originally, we had an home and office printer, which is still going strong, on my desk, but she was tired of always running out of paper and ink. Paper she could replace, the ink was my job.I got her a true office All in One, and it takes these cartridges. They come in big boxes, and are encased in a form fitting clam shell. Changing ink is a pieces of cake. The dead cartridge goes into the clamshell, which goes back into the box, which gets shipped back to HP. I keep one of each color in reserve, so there's no need of rush shipping. The printer has always verified these as authentic.

This item, while relatively straight forward, is superior to many of the toners being offered for sale here on Amazon as well as other places. Why? Because it’s original and isn’t remanufactured.I’m all for recycling, protecting the environment, etc., but when you buy this OEM product you’re (a) getting a FULL cartridge of toner, and (b) the toner color acts like it is supposed to and doesn’t bleed or smear all over your printed pages. If you’re looking to save a buck, avoid this one and buy a remanufactured toner cartridge. If you’re looking for crisp and dark print on the page that doesn’t smear, and lasts more than a couple of reams of paper, choose this one at the higher price. You’ll be money ahead in the long run.

I really am not excited about giving this product 5 stars. It is so blasted expensive...they know it, and I know it. But I tried 3 other "top rated" replacement cartridges on Amazon, and they all were two to three stars at best. Faded colors, streaks, leakage, inaccurate reports, etc.This HP cartridge does a perfect job. It makes me bitter. Its black is black. No streaks, no leakage, proper reporting of levels, etc. It is a wonderful replacement and I should have just trusted HP all along. We are a homeschool family, and we print a TON of documents. We cannot afford our printer to be out of ink or working improperly. Once this has been installed I have ZERO complaints and by golly, the documents do look good. Thanks HP, but please...lower your price!

Colours are vibrant. Great cost on these high yield toners as we get more prints for low cost per page prints. Really good value!

don't work if there not the same region as your printer

Bought a full set of these in May (CMY+K) but only needed to change Cyan initially, changing Yellow and Black today and despite the box being labelled as 410x, high yield the actually unit inside is 410a the lower yield.Well outside the returns window now so will have to initiate a credit card chargeback, which is just going to waste a lot of time. If you order these open the box and check what it is labelled as on the outside is what it contains, before your return window expires.
