Body Sport Weighted Bars, Weight Lifting Bars for Strength Training and Sculpting, 6-Pound

Very pleased with this. I'm out of shape and the 6 lb bar is ideal as a beginner. Bought a simple dvd to start "Total Body Express" and love exercising with this. I am a small frame older woman and found gripping the bar is easy and comfortable. Think 6 lb was a good starting point for me. I'm inactive and overweight and this 6 lb is perfect. Weight is evenly distributed. Rubber tips on each end great for when bar is used in vertical position with tip on the floor. The bar offers a lot of stability and balance. Easier to do the exercises and control the form rather than using hand weights. Easier to control body position with this. The bar seems much better on my hands and wrists instead of hand weights . However, I'm finding it difficult to find a whole body workout dvd that is longer and harder than what I bought. Will definitely keep the bar in my weight loss routine. Came shipped UPS, in a sturdy cardboard box with the bar packed tight in the box with heavy bubble wrap. All I had to do was open the box, remove the bubble wrap (easy) and ready to go. Will definitely buy this in heavier weight as I progress.

Great bar to add a little resistance to a workout and is rubber coated for a comfortable grip. The ends are protected against floor damage. Might buy a 2nd one that is 9 lbs for a harder workout.

I'm giving this item five stars even though I returned it, since it's one of the highest quality weighted bars I've ever used. The grip is extremely good and doesn't flake or compress like some I've used, and it's very well balanced. The reason I returned it is a detail that isn't listed in the item description: it has sand inside of it that swishes around as you swing it. I didn't like the sound. It's a great exercise bar, but be aware that there's sand under the rubber in addition to the steel bar.

I use the Weighted Bars at home for Strength training and bicep curl. I also using when I'm doing situps. the bars also good for stretching. The Weighted Bars is just the right size for me and just as the seller described it. It's not to heavy and it's not to lite. It the perfect size. Thank you Curj

Needed to replace my TAEBO bar because it would not lock in the open position any more. The 4-pound body bar is an excellent replacement and great because I've out grown the 3-pound bar that comes with TAEBO. There are no mechanics with the weight bar so I don't have to worry about it failing to lock open. The bar is slim for a woman's hand and padded for comfort. I just have to get used to swinging it. I hope to move to the 6-pound bar in six months and will purchase this brand then.On a side note, shipping was extremely fast.

It’s a good product to isolate the obliques -I do seated oblique workout with this 1 lb bar across the shoulders-keeping the lower body still and the upper body stable to just focus on the obliques.... very satisfied with this 1lb bar being used specifically for the exercise. Thanks

This is a good quality bar. It is the first one I've ever gotten, but this is foam covered top to bottom and seems very good quality. If I get a different weight, I will buy this maker's bar. It is quality I expected.

This body bar is great. I got the 30lb one and I really like it..only thing, it has quite a strong odor, but I keep wiping it, so hopefully it will go away for ever, soon..
