Salter Brecknell BLHS302121-660L HS-300 Physician Scale, Mild Steel with Durable Powder Coated White Finish

I purchased this for my mother who has stability issues and needs to weigh every day for health issues. This scale is heavy but rock solid and very comfortable for her to use. It's larger than I would have preferred for home use (limited space). It was a bit of a challenge to put together (I had to turn the unit 90 degrees hold it level while resting its weight on other furniture while working with the delicate connectors). Would be much easier with two people. Lost one star because putting it together made me grumpy.

We have always used the standard slide medical scales, but they would always eventually start giving inaccurate weights. Some of our residents have issues staying steady while getting weighed, and I purchased 2 of these scales to replace the existing ones. Just having the ability to Zero the scale by the touch of a button is grand. Having the integrated handles that the residents can hold and not affect the weight is fantastic; even better is, having the LCD digital display ensures that we have a consistent reading of those weights.

Very sturdy - and heavy. The photo is of the connector at the end of a short wire that comes out of the indicator, which should be attached by two screws. The package arrived with one screw missing. I contacted the seller, but Amazon didn't provide a place for this photo, which shows the tiny missing screw.

Overall nice scale. Very Poor paint on platform. Could have made this look like a high end product if they invested another $5 in the manufacturing process. Anything to save a buck, God bless greedy corporate America.

Purchased to use in a doctor's office, as our other scales were limited to 350 lbs. Several patients could not be weighed accurately.Likes: Accurate, easy to set up, easy to use. One benefit not mentioned is that is does have an auto-off feature to save the battery life. The bar makes it easy for the frail and the elderly to hold on to for accurate weights without assistance. The step up platform is not that high, presenting little difficulty for most patients.Dislkes - none.

the scale does not work. Although the instruction booklet has lots of pages and lots of words, they make zero sense. There is nowhere in the instructions that tells you HOW TO TAKE A WEIGHT which is of course why you bought the thing in the first place.

Exactly what we needed for our 91 year old dad in dialysis! Sturdy and accurate !

Nice scale. Love that is has a rail for patient to hold. Easy to assemble. Came quicker than expected.
