I bought this cable to connect my MacBook Pro to an external monitor, and I’m very satisfied. The connection is instant, no drivers needed - just plug it in, and it works right away. First Impressions: The cable arrived in neat packaging. It feels high-quality and durable – the braided design is tight, and the metal connectors ensure a secure, snug fit with no wobbling. This is clearly not a cheap cable that will break easily. Image Quality & Performance: The 4K 60Hz support is exactly what I needed. The picture is crisp, no flickering or tearing. I tested it not only with my MacBook, but also with my iPad Pro and Samsung S20, and it works without any lag. I also like that the cable doesn’t overheat, even after long hours of use.

I bought this to connect my M3 MacBook Air to my Samsung G9 monitor. Physically, the cable is excellent, it's braided, feels durable and as a decent length, it even has a handle little light to show when it is connected, so if you are on a budget it is a decent option. However, if you have an ultra wide monitor, or a monitor that supports high resolutions, need higher refresh rates, this might not be for you. For me, It struggled to output the full resolution of my ultra wide screen, as my Mac was unable to recognise my monitor, this left text looking pixelated and blurry. The refresh rate is capped at 60Hz, compared to a DisplayPort, using my Mac seemed sluggish, when in reality, it was just the monitor. For long work sessions, the pixelated text and slow refresh rate actually caused me some eyes strain and headaches, which isn't great for productivity. If you just need to connect to a standard TV, Projector, or just a monitor for casual use, this is a solid choice. But if you regularly sit at your desk, use a Mac with a high-end monitor, I'd recommend you spend the extra couple of pounds for a DisplayPort cable instead.

Used this so i could screen mirror from my Samsung S10e to a monitor. Cable is a good length. Its not the most flexible cable, but it is also not stiff. For a "braided" cable it is also a little thinner than i expected, which helps with the flexibility. Downside is not being able to plug in a charger while using it, which limits the amount of time i ca use the device, but as my phone also supports wireless charging, i can use that to trickle charge on the go. Ultimately, I am happy i went for this device, where it has a HDMI connector on one end and a long thin and flexible USBC cable, vs the more prevalent devices that you would have to plug an HDMI cable into and the USBC section is short. Those are potentially more versatile with the length of HDMI being more adjustable, But I would take this version over having to use a stiff HDMI cable.

Cable is working with a Samsung S5e tablet connecting to an old JVC TV and also a full HD 1080p portable monitor. Purchased to play videos from tablet storage and this works in both normal tablet mode and DeX however DeX was better (no fiddling with display aspect ratio in VLC app required). Initially to get sound on the TV/monitor in DeX mode it was necessary to specify this in the DeX settings whilst the hdmi cable was connected then restart DeX... now it's automatic. Although I won't be streaming using the cable I did test Netflix and YouTube and both stream full screen. The hdmi end whilst in use gets slightly warm but certainly not hot (the main reason for getting this cable not the 4k 60hz version which reportedly runs hot and is over spec for my requirements). Can't speak for 4k or refresh rate as none of my kit is 4k, but the display looks great and is playing 1080p movies nicely as is to be expected. Very pleased with purchased, time will tell on durability but the cable looks well made.

Excellent does what it needs to do without fiddly connectors brilliant item

The product itself seemed fine. I'd say the "braided cable" is more of a fabric-like material than a conventional braided cable, so it didn't feel as high quality. The connector ends themselves (the USB-C and HDMI ends) felt sturdy enough. Unfortunately, this doesn't list whether it supports a Google Pixel Tablet. So I tried this on both my living room TV and a PC monitor; neither worked. I believe this could be due to the lack of video support on the tablet itself, but it would have been good to have a heads-up about whether it works on that tablet before buying it (it lists plenty of others, just not this one). I'm returning it, but wanted to write a quick review. It might do the job just fine for your device.

J'ai acheté ce cable dans le but de connecter une télécommande DJI RC2 vers un écran externe afin de dupliquer l'image, et ça fonctionne ! (moniteur samsung) Ça ne fonctionne pas avec ma télé, mais elle est sans doute trop vieille (une des premières Sony 4K de 2014). Ça ne fonctionne pas non plus avec la télécommande DJI RC. Ça fonctionne avec mon macbook pro et mon lenovo. En bref, j'en suis content et suis bien conscient que ça peut ne pas fonctionner avec tous les appareils.
