Keds womens Chillax Slip on

Best Keds shoe ever! (If you factor only looks & comfort.)
We ended up buying a number of the Keds Chillax for various members of the family. The shoe comes soft and flexible with a removable insole. The shoe will stretch and soften even more than it comes from the factory. The shoe is NOT canvas. It is fabric. The people in my family that wear size 7.5 Keds Champion shoes from a few years ago had to get a size 7 in the Chillax. One of the wearers finds the shoe a bit long. Both those wearers find the shoe to run wide, especially after being broken in.For reference I normally wear a size 11 Keds Champion in the older model. I find the new Keds Champion size 11 loose and a bit wide.I find the Keds Chillax 11 very loose, especially after it stretches out. I could easily step out of the shoe if not careful yet the heel stays on decently. I tried a size 10 and found it too short. I had to get the 11 because 10.5 does not seem to be an option. I think the Chillax is a wide shoe but the flexibility and softness of the fabric are so comfortable I am going to keep wearing them.Life expectancy is probably horrendous. After just a few full days of wearing and being on my feet all day with moderate walking, the rubber around the shoe at the seam where the fabric meets the sole starts to come separated from the fabric. This is common on Keds and Converse and similar shoes but usually takes a good few months to achieve the same separation.Out of the 6 pair we own, two came defective! Yikes! To be honest though, including finding the correct size we ordered 8 shoes total but kept only 6. So that is 2 of 8 that came defective. You read into that what you want. One had black marks probably from the assembly machine all along the rubber edge every few inches. The other had the fabric machine pressed so it was folded over at the eyelets.

Comfortable and stylish
This is by far the most comfortable shoe you will ever have on your feet! I have several pairs in different colors. They are long lasting and easy to clean. And believe it or not these are great walking shoes.

KEDS Canvas White Slip On Sneakers without laces
KEDS® Canvas White Slip On Sneakers without laces> No laces included. They're fake. There is elastic that keeps the shoes on your feet. They look like OG Keds and are so comfy. Lightweight, Bright white. Cleans so easy. I scrub them up with a little tide detergent, rinse well and set out for a few hours and they dry nice, and bright white. Like new!!

A stylish, versatile shoe, but runs super narrow
If you're someone with wide or tall feet, be warned. I'd have loved to have been able to purchase this shoe in a wide size, but couldn't find any, so I got my normal size -- and it definitely shows. The tops of my feet are so tall that the tongue exposes a bit of the elastic band, which leaves something to be desired. The toe box is also kinda tight for me since my feet are also wide. These shoes don't look quite as sleek and dainty on me as they do on narrow-footed women, but they're still pretty comfortable, have cushy soles, and are made well. I love the style of the shoe and how it can be dressed up or dressed down, and the color I picked almost works like a neutral so the shoes can be worn with many different types of outfits, colors, and patterns. Other than running so narrow, I think these are an adorable twist on the classic Keds!

Cute and comfortable sneaker
I love these Keds. Super easy to slip on and non need to tie. They wipe up well but I did also put them I the washer and they are fine. Probably don’t recommend doing that but they turned ok. I did order down half a size. Will get more over time.

Wore out in less than 8 weeks
First, these are pretty classic Keds. They are very comfortable, like walking barefoot with a slight sole between your foot and the ground. There is no arch support or way to adjust the width if you are looking for those things these are not the sneakers for you. You can feel every rock on the ground through the soles. I’ve attached two photos of my pair after 7 weeks of almost daily wear. This was during the tail end of pandemic so I only wore them for an hour or two a day. On an average day I walk between a mile and a mile and a half according to my IPhone. You can see based on what I consider light wear they did not hold up. I don’t mind the dirt because they can always be tossed in the washing machine, but the hole in the canvas at my toe after less than two months of wear is a big disappointment for a $55 pair of shoes. Also, as you can see, even though most of my walking is on sidewalks, parking lots and through the grocery store, the soles wore down fairly significantly. I l love the light weigh and the feel of these and will continue to wear them even with the hole, but I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone else unless you will only be wheeling them indoors, preferably on rugs or carpets. I don’t think they can stand up to average daily wear. These are more like slippers than actual shoes in terms of durability.

Love these shoes
I love these shoes so much. I’ve bought them three times! They are great for quick to get on. You can dress them up or just casual wear. they go with everything and are super comfortable.
