TERRO Indoor Electric Flea Trap and Killer, Refillable Plug in Bug Trap

These work great! I bought 3, and they caught more fleas than I expected! Each comes with a spare sticky pad. I've had them plugged in for a couple weeks straight now, so I don't know why others comment on the short bulb life (PRO TIP: Whenever you handle a clear halogen bulb that tends to emit a lot of heat, WEAR GLOVES so that you don't get the oils from your fingers on the bulb. That can superheat the bulb and cause it to burn out quicker, just like with automotive light bulbs). Another tip, these work better at night or when it's the only source of light in the room. As they say, "a watched pot never boils," so give it several hours in darkness to start working. Also, these will NOT pull fleas from your pet! Those fleas already have a tasty heat source, so this is designed to catch fleas that are on the floor or near pet bedding. Overall, it's a pretty good value and they're pretty durable, so I would definitely buy these again (should something happen to the 3 I have now).

I don't know about any negative reviews, but first, assembly took 2 minutes, easy. Second as I plugged the first trap in, I was about two inches from floor when 3 fleas hopped on, many to follow, I have 2 dogs and 5 cats, one cat ripped my back door screen and got out so that is how my pets and home became infested. It's very hard work to remove fleas from pets and property. I have done everything, baths, sprays, etc. but this trap is making my life easier. thanks Terro.

This Terro T230 indoor electric flea trap was a complete disappointment and did not work as advertised. I bought it expecting at least some level of effectiveness based on the claims, but after using it as directed, it failed to make any meaningful difference. The biggest issue is that it simply does not catch fleas. Even when placed in areas where flea activity was known to exist, the trap produced little to no results. The light turns on, the unit powers up, but that’s about where the usefulness ends. After days of operation, there was no noticeable reduction in flea activity and barely anything captured, if anything at all. The design feels more gimmicky than practical. While the idea of using light and a sticky pad sounds good in theory, in real-world use it doesn’t seem to attract fleas effectively. Fleas clearly preferred hosts, carpets, and furniture rather than this trap sitting nearby. For something marketed specifically as a flea killer, it fails at its core purpose. Refill pads are another downside. Since the trap isn’t catching much to begin with, the idea of buying refills just adds insult to injury. You end up paying more for a system that doesn’t deliver results, which makes it a poor value overall. Build quality is also unimpressive. It feels lightweight and plasticky, and nothing about it suggests durability or thoughtful engineering. It feels like a night light with a sticky pad rather than a serious pest control tool. Most importantly, this should not be relied on as a solution for indoor flea problems. It doesn’t replace proper treatment methods, and even as a supplemental tool, it adds little to no value. Time and money are better spent on proven flea control options. Overall, this product does not live up to its claims. It turns on, but it doesn’t work where it matters. Based on performance alone, this earns one star, and I would not recommend it to anyone dealing with a real flea issue.

Omg yes... im allergic to sprays and let me tell you this works so well I bought more and I keep them on 24/7 they catch everything... when you kid leaves the door open dont worry whatever comes in this will catch it. So worth the buy..

The package you order shows you get an extra bulb but you receive everything accept the second bulb. I bought 3 sets and all were the same. The trap itself caught nothing the first 2 days however when I didn’t extend the legs fully leaving the light closer to the trap it began to catch fleas. The bulbs however burn out quick even though I totally avoided physically touching them. Otherwise I’m using these in combination with vacuuming daily, and using a flea spray. Not sure where the fleas came from originally but they’re not welcome.

My cats are 100% inside cats but somehow those pesky fleas got into my house and i was panick purchasing every flea product there was on market. i was super hesitant on this product but I WAS WRONG ! i've so far left this for a few weeks in the part of the living room where the cats like to lounge during the day and it’s gotten a huge amount of fleas . As of now the fleas in the videos has quadrupled the amount that’s stuck. i’ve washed , vacuumed, mopped, sprayed, gotten different flea medications . i know this won’t stop the fleas but it will attract some of the adults . I have since then bought a few more to spread around the house. I’ve tried other flea traps and this one seems to attract the most , i assume it is the high heat (my others traps aren’t as hot and bright). i highly recommend .

Definitely way better than I expected. Some new ones get caught everyday and it's actually interesting to watch, lol. Quite fed up with fleas and this worked perfectly while treating our cats with a solution to get rid of them. Got two magnets for fleas. Haven't had such a problem in years. Great product. Keep it where they will show up the most and have shown up the most and you should be good.

Seems to work well. Only tracks the immediate area, so you need to move it around. Its an intense light so works like a night lite. Defiantly works and helps kill fleas.

Some quality control you have. That light bulb didn't even last the first day?
