Q: How well do they hold up to cleaning and do they wrinkle easily like true linen?

They are like true linen on the wrinkle side. But my fiancé has had them dry cleaned several times & they are still good

Q: Are these pants see through?

I worried about that as well. In this color, no. Even with dark underpants on.

Q: What is the largest belt width for the belt loops?

I would say 1.50" is the widest belt you can use. I used a 1.25" belt for mine.
