They don't disappoint.
I am very genuinely pleased with these boots. After looking at about 50 other pairs I came back to these which were my initial choice, saw there was only 1 pair in my size left so ordered them. I'm very glad I did. I have been out to try them out and they don't disappoint. The grip design underneath has been very well thought out which is great. My feet didn't get wet although I did go through a stream. Best of all and most importantly is the comfort of these, worn with my hiking socks these are very comfy due to the memory foam inner sole. Also there was no rubbing on the back of my heel/ankle which is fantastic. I can't fault them. I am a size 6 and these were probably a centimeter smaller than standard but that made a perfect fit for myself. So glad I did order these as they are very good value.

Great Quality Shoes!
If you want comfy shoes you don't have to wear in, dry feet after walking in heavy rain and wet muddy grass and generally all round a good value for money pair of shoes then look no further! After trying many pairs of shoes, I have hit the jackpot with these. I'm 68 miles into a 100 mile walking challenge and got these specifically for the occasion. No blisters, no sore bits, no discomfort, no wet toes. Best money I've spent on shoes! Highly recommend!Minor update : I fell in a puddle with these shoes on and I only got slightly damp in the toes but definitely still got great protection compared to how wet that could have ended up!!

Very nice
Arrived last week just before I set out for a walking weekend, ordered a size 6 as I usually wear a size 6 and these are slightly bigger but not complaining as I could wear my thick walking socks. They are very comfortable, wore them the whole day no blisters, sores or anything so they didn't need broken in. Went forest walking where there was quite a bit of bog land and landed in quite a few puddles and they prove waterproof for me (unless your like me and end up ankle deep in bog then a little water gets in but that was my own fault). A really lovely, comfortable and warm boot.

Brilliant buy
I'm a size 4EEE due to having very wide feet. However I usually have to buy a size 5 which I did with these. I have wide feet, high instep, Mortons Neuroma, Plantar Fasciitis and need at least a 11/2" heel due to spinal problems. So buying footwear is an absolute nightmare for me, very often having to make do or add things in order to make footwear relatively comfortable. So after attempting to find other walking footwear with no success I thought I'd give these a go. So very glad I did. Ok so I've had to put in orthotic insoles and gel heel height extenders but that's fine. These shoes arrived this morning and after additional support fiddling around I had them on my feet by 11.30am and didn't take them off until 2.30pm. During this time I took them for a test walk in the park with my dog, my main reason for needing these shoes, brilliant is all I can say. Feet feel fine, no rubbing anywhere, good underfoot on slippy wet grass and dry feet at the end of the walk. Yay so pleased with these and can highly recommend them. If you have normal feet, unlike me, you won't need any additional bits n bobs, you can put them straight on and walk and I'm certain you'll love them. One day I hope that some footwear company might consider making decent walking footwear with a raised heel for the likes of me but in the meantime these are my best buy for a very long time. One very happy dog walking lady here. Thank you Wyre Valley.UPDATE: Sadly on second time of wearing these they made my left toes very sore and caused my little toe to bleed and took a little skin away from just under the side of my big toe. Nevertheless I'll stick with them and hope that once they're worn in a little more this problem will stop. I forgot to mention in my first review that longer laces would be good as I can only just fasten them.

Good Value and seem comfortable!
I bought these boots as I do a lot of walking with my dog and needed a new pair in preparation for the winter. I have recently spent a lot of money on expensive walking boots which don't stay waterproof or last long so I thought I would try a cheaper pair which may need replacing sooner, which I am prepared for. I am normally a 4 - 4.5 so bought the size 5 as recommended in other reviews and I'm glad that I did as they do seem to come up smaller than usual and the size 5 fits me very well. I have not worn them out yet but they do seem comfortable when worn around the house.

These ate the back of my ankles.
They look good, feel sturdy and seem to be of good quality, but they ate the back of my ankles. I know some shoes/boots need 'breaking in' but I walked for just less than 20 minutes a fortnight ago with two thick pairs of socks on and the subsequent sores on the back of both ankles are still healing. The areas around and under the foot might by comfy but the back of the boot is so rigid I can't see how I can possibly ever wear these again. I also passed the return window some time ago too: not ideal. I then bought a pair of Timberlands for the same price and walked up Snowdon in them the next day, with not a blister in sight!

Great value
Had to reluctantly send these back as they were just a tiny bit small on one foot but to be fair every pair of walking boots I've tried seem to be like that. Don't think they're too small think its a problem I seem to have. These boots looked great and were extremely well made for the price. Really wished I could have kept them. Seller refunded me quickly
