RCA 3-Device Universal Remote Control Platinum Pro, Easy Setup, Long Range IR, Replaces And Consolidates Most Major Remote Brands

Worked on a bunch of different tv’s for me. It’s straightforward to program with the manufacturer guide that comes with the remote. I even had to use it at work one time for a newer Sony flat screen we couldn’t find the remote for and it worked! It’s a bit smaller and lighter than your standard cable remote. It’s easy to hit all the buttons with the remote in the palm of your hand. If your into older tvs or have a tv you don’t have a remote to I’d say this remote would be well worth it to you for the cost.

This was really very easy to set up. It took me just a couple of minutes. There are four different options of how to program this remote. The codes provided for my TV didn't work (I have a Viore... don't judge.... someone else bought it lol). I was though, successful with one of the other options, and it took very little time for me to figure it out (and I'm a bit technically uninclined). I do like the way this remote feels in my hand. The backside is curved, so it forms perfectly to my hand when I'm using it. Unlike many remotes, this one ispretty simple and very easy to use. The three devices that it'll connect to are: A TV, either a satellite dish, cable or direct TV and the last is for either a DVD player or a VCR. It would be nice to have one more, but for the price this one is sufficient for me (I looked at many other remotes, and I didn't see any that'll work with ROKU).

This was to replace a misplaced remote for an RCA television. Couldn't find the original remote anywhere. Decided I might as well get a universal remote since I had to replace it. Set up for devices was easy, however, the remote did not switch between components on the input screen. you could get to the input screen but could not scroll up and down for your device. I was trying to switch between the television and a Sony DVD player. It operated to television and DirecTV functions, as well as the functions on the DVD player, but you could not switch the input so you could not actually see the screen in DVD mode. It does say however that there would be some functions that it might not be able to perform.

This is a good replacement remote. It works with smart TVs. It truly is universal from my experience.

This remote stopped working after a couple of days and wasn't worth my time returning it. At first I thought it was the batteries, so I used a different brand of batteries (brand new) and it still didn't work. It did work right out of the box but obviously was manufacturered poorly. I lightly shook the remote in my hand and could hear loose parts or pieces inside of it (maybe a screw or a wire ? Who knows?) I ended up just buying universal remote at Walmart and it solved my problem lol. I definitely do not recommend you spending time and money on this remote.

If you're looking for a remote to do anything other than change the channel or the volume, then this isn't the remote for you. After trying a few codes to sync to my Insignia TV, I was finally able to pair it so that I could change the TV channel and the volume, however the input button doesn't work and won't change between the HDMI inputs on my TV. Kinda disappointed but I really only needed it to change the volume and turn the TV on or off anyway.

bought an RCA VCR on ebay. It didn't have a remote with it. Turned on VCR and was met immediately with a Pick a language option that prevented my playing tapes automatically. Bought this to link up with VCR. The auto-link process didn't work, but it comes with a separate list of link codes based on brand and such. The first RCA code "20000" worked immediately in linking the VCR and remote.

My brother, who is paralyzed, has a Naxa NT-2409 TV. He relies on the remote. His nursing facility manages to lose his remote on a regular basis. The "genuine" Naxa remotes haven't worked but this RCA remote does. The process for searching for the code is a bit cumbersome but was accomplished in under 10 minutes. All the major functions of the remote now work--channel change, channel buttons, volume, and menu. It certainly does the job at a reasonable price.

Remote was fine just did not work on my device

I received this remote yesterday. i specifically bought this one as I have an RCA TV. The instructions are completely confusing, but I sat and went through them carefully and spent two hours trying each method they had listed numerous times with no results. I am a senior in my 80's so don't pretend to be very "techie," so asked a neighbour to help me. He spent an hour and couldn't get it to work, but suggested another neighbour who knew more than he did. This second neighbour and his wife came both yesterday and today and tried numerous times to get it to work. This is a useless item and a total waste of money. I am disgusted with RCA.

Bought this remote when I lost both remotes for a small flat screen tv and a vcr/dvd combo. The ones I did find in the stores were too expensive.. $18-$24 range.. I just needed a basic remote to work these 2. Nothing fancy here to operate. At one time you could find these remotes in any store, but now their a little hard to come by without being over priced.. Anyway this little remote does the trick for me works both a Sony flatscreen and my Panasonic vcr/dvd combo. Easy to program,, just follow the simple instructions,, { I used the quick method in that it searches the codes for me} I think I was done programming both machines in under a minute... Good value too,, just $10, compared to what they now want for them in stores.. Hope this helps...

I gave this product a 4 star review as I couldn’t get it to work with my RCA TV. However my daughter took it and it works with her RCA TV which is an older model. It was also really cheap so I didn’t mind I had to buy another remote for my TV.

Great little remote at a much cheaper price than in store. I picked this up for the sole purpose of the 'INPUT' button. The new Telus optic remote no longer has an Input button to select between HDMI inputs. I had since lost the original RCA remote for the TV and thought this would be my best option. I have tried everything and it will not pair/work with my RCA TV. Bummer.
