Yeah I got this for when I was taking chinese class. It pains me writing on lined papers for chinese characters but this helps a lot. I recommend on getting this when you don't want to use lined papers.

Nice notebook for practice writing Chinese characters. Good weight paper, you won't see bleed through with standard ink, although I am pretty sure there would be bleed through with felt tip pens, but I don't have one to test. Grids inside the squares are pretty uniform to each other, which helps to get length, width and height of strokes correct. As a beginner, I am completely happy with this purchase.
