I feed grain to my horses and for some I have had a problem of them tipping the grain pan over or tipping it enough so that some of the grain spills out. This is more stable and makes it much harder. Hasn't happened yet, but horses usually can find a way.

After trying several other water-bowl options, we decided to try this as a solution for our two large, mixed-breed pups. They had chewed-up or flipped-over everything else we ever put in their pen, until we used this!! We have used this now for several months and it has not been flipped over even once!! Grab holes at bottom are also excellent for moving the pan as needed for cleaning!

Bought 4 of these to feed my horses. Love them! Nice a big for big noses. Can't flip them. They do still throw them, but they are holding up just fine.

Good, heavy duty feeders. Used inn my stable for grain feeding. Easy to clean.

These are great ground feeders for my goats and geese. The animals push them around, but don’t tip them over. They’re also good for providing water for smaller pets. With the sturdy sides pets can lean over without tipping it. If they fall in, they can easily get back out. I replaced a bucket with this and I no longer find drowned birds and small animals floating in the dogs’ water. Can be used instead of a pool for extra small dogs. On hot days, my old Peke would climb in and sleep in it with her head hanging over the side.
