American Truck Simulator: California – Windows (PC DVD)

I have a 10 year old 64bit Dell with a 500GB GeForce 9500 video card and the simulator works acceptably on low settings. Obviously a GTX card would work miracles but it's still fun. It's good practice on backing up a trailer. I'm hoping it will help with my boat launching next year. I've got to practice those left turns though, I keep hitting cars waiting at the red light. Practice, practice, practice. Definitely worth the price.

Best trucking game! The SCSSoft did great job on the !8 WoS ATS game. Very impressive graphic and almost like real. I knew there will be more update to add to the game in future. I really love this game and make it more fun and enjoying driving around to check the cool and interesting place to visit. I am highly recommend to other people to get this game.

One should know that a Steam account is REQUIRED to install the PC DVD version of this game. Of course you have Steam...you could just by and download it instantly... So, why would you wait for it to be shipped? Unfortunately the seller leaves out the Steam account requirement. I assumed this PC DVD version was like the previous release (Euro Truck Simulator II) where the PC DVD is stand alone game. Had I know that a Steam account was required, I would not have bought this.Why would anyone knowingly buy this product when you can simply purchase the identical one direct from Steam via a digital download? I was duped. I give it 1 star due to the vendor committing a lie of omission when they did not disclose a material fact. I expected a stand alone game, and instead I got something I could have gotten instantly off Steam.As to the game...it's top notch and great for some stress free entertainment. You'll just have to play it on Steam.

good game but hard to control and steer and reset real life driving

If you like trucking on the open then this is the game for you plus the custom mods everyone makes, it's a great open road game with tons of deliveries to do & get your own company started. It's fun

I think these guys did a very good job with this game. I have driven trucks for over 40 years I am now retired. I got this game just to see what it was like and how realistic basically for something to do but it’s a really good game summer take some of the realism isn’t there but for what they could do and how they produced it it’s an awesome game I’m sure there’s more to come to improve it but for a truck simulator I would give it five stars. Be interested with some of their improvements and to see what else is to come good job guys.

Have not put it down since a fist bought it, Very addictive. Brilliant graphics, like driving on a real road. Worth every penny.Just one problem, not enough garages.
