Different cut and different waistband
These are not the same as the sport mesh hipsters I bought two years ago. The cut is different (the new ones are wider and lower rise), but my biggest complaint is that the waistband is now plain elastic. My older pair have a silky cover over the elastic waistband, which has held up perfectly. The raw elastic waistbands tend to fray over time. These are too expensive for me to bother waiting to find out if they will suffer the same fate. These underpants used to be perfect—I don’t know why they felt they had to change them.

A pad/liner won't stick to it.
I'd heard fantastic things about these, and finally decided to try them for myself. They're women's underwear, but a pad or liner won't stick to the fabric. Even trying one with wings, stuck to itself, fell right off.So I don't know what wonders they can accomplish if you don't want to wear even a liner. Maybe they really are great on their own.But you know what isn't great? Being just a couple miles in on a trail and realizing that your second attempt at adhesive pad placement has *also* resulted in a pad that's fallen down alongside your ankle, wedged against your sock, and it's a good thing you tucked those cuffs in to ward off the ticks. That pad was doing nobody any good there, I promise - and I had a long walk ahead.I'm not returning them, obviously; I wouldn't do that after today. But I really don't know what use they are, either. So much for the amazing underwear people recommended in a hiking forum. :/

Breathable but terrible fit
The material these are made of is amazing. It’s super breathable and dries very quickly. That being said, it really doesn’t feel like these underwear were made with a woman’s shape in mind. The cut is strange. The elastic around the waist and leg holes is stiff and cutting into my skin, while there is too much fabric around my bum, loose and bunching. It’s very confusing.I wanted to love these. I know men usually have great luck with this brand and it has a good reputation in the outdoor world. I will seek out another style and hopefully give the brand one more chance, but I do not recommend this specific style.

Why?!
Ok. No. These are bad guys. They appear super stretchy in the waist and leg. Appear is the key word. Put them on and all that stretch still exists, but they somehow cut into you in all the wrong places. Have some chunk around your hips? Congrats, your muffin top now has a muffin top. Legs? Let's cut in and make it super noticable under shorts but somehow still be stretchy enough to shift around and bunch up said shorts. I've washed them twice and worn them once so they can't be returned, but they can be donated. Maybe someone at the thrift shop will have the magical body need to wear you.Save yourself time, energy, and money. Just go the the three letter co-op and buy their active undies. Mesh, don't cut in, full bum coverage, cheaper than these monstrosities, and seem to stay in place under bike shorts.

Much improved over originals
The fit is SO MUCH BETTER than the original hipsters! (At least for full figured curves).. I Can’t wear bikini style bc my hips are wide and bum is too big and they just give perpetual wedgies. The original hipsters waist and leg openings are smaller and not as stretchy as these 2.0’s. These are so much better! I’m glad I gave them another try! These are also softer and much more comfortable

Perfect!
I ordered four different colors of this and they are all amazing. Incredibly comfortable to wear. The only thing I didn't like about them was that they have an actual tag in the back instead of just printing the information directly on the inside of the underwear. The tag is long and irritating. However, it is only held on by two stitches in the corners of the tag which are not included in the waistband stitching. I was able to easily remove the tags without ruining the waistband. Aside from that, they are amazing. They kept me dry all day even when I got hot. I also wash them on delicate in my washing machine and then hang them to dry. They are dry within a half an hour at the most. I will definitely buy them again. I believe they are true to size as well. I ordered the same size I would've for any well-known brand name underwear and they all fit me perfect. Buy these. They're worth it!

Would be great if not for the tag.
Let me preface this by saying I bought these because they were under $5 at the time of purchase. The prices of these seem to change daily. That being said, I do enjoy these underwear and have taken them on a few backpacking trips so far. They are easy to rinse and dry in the backcountry, the x small fits me uncomfortably, and I haven't had any issues with them riding up. For that cheap they are a steal and ended up with about 11 total since I kept buying two here and there when the price was under $5.The tags in them are annoying and uncomfortable though and unlike other brands you can't just rip them out. Instead you have to cut them as close to the seam as possible and then deal with whatever is left being moderately less annoying.

Digging and rolling is no fun
I’m trying to find underwear to work out and hike in when it’s hot and humid. These seem fairly breathable, but it’s the fit I can’t get behind. I am 5’7, 190 pounds and while the XL fits ok, the thick band around the waist really digs in and, even worse, it rolls down constantly when doing anything even remotely active (even underneath compression gym leggings, which is a feat). Really wanted to love these but they just don’t do it for me.
