Q: Could you please tell me the maximum table thickness that the net clamps can accomodate?

I hope this makes sense. The maximum table thickness the mouth opens to its just under 2.5 inches. The 'mouth' (or the clamp part) is 2 inches, so the table needs some kind of lip to grab onto.

Q: I want to use this on a box-like table Would this work if I just sat the net holders on each side of my table?

Hm. Good question. If you just placed the black cylinders on either side of the table..probably not. Although I can't measure it at the moment I think the jaws on the bottom extend down an inch. If that helps. It's support mainly comes from the hooks at the bottom. I hope that helps - sorry it's so late!

Just checked and it looks like 2.25 inches is as wide as it will accommodate.

I don’t know but don’t recommend this product. Poor construction and worse customer service
