It’s a hit!
The person I bought it for likes it very much, so it’s a hit in the gift department. Personally I’m a little disappointed - I expected it to be larger based on the photos in the description. On the plus side if you look at the cat as you’re walking into a room, it definitely catches your eye and looks very much 3 dimensional. Our house cat has no opinion.

This was a birthday gift for my stepmother. She's a cat-lover and this gift was perfect by her comments to me. It can run on AAA batteries or USB cord. It can switch to different colors either by a touch button on the base or via a remote control device included. (There were no batteries included with the one I bought.)

Visually quite stunning but....
The picture in the Amazon site was quite accurate. The lamp is quite attractive and everyone will have their own preferred color to set it on. Unfortunately, the USB socket in the base was somewhat loose so the light would not always work. I am not returning because I would prefer using rechargeable batteries and not see the wire. One week later one entire row of buttons on the remote did not work therefore I returned it for a refund. Too bad because the visual look was awesome.

It's not a hologram. Who cares?
I don't know who is assuming this is some kind of hologram display for $25.This is a cute 3D looking nighlite display.We use the remote to teach colours to our daughter. She uses the remote to pick a colour for the cat and says the colour.A great light and a bonus learning tool, too.It looks really good in a darkened room.Love it!
