I bought my wife both books in this series and she gobbled them up. She then passed them along to my father who also read both of them and enjoyed them!

LOVE this book! It is so well written and is incredibly engaging. The characters really came to life for me! The author did such a wonderful job of portraying the different nuances of each character - I felt as if I knew them. The strong behind-the-scenes perspective of political campaigning, and politics in general, is a good reminder that smoke and mirrors is real. I highly recommend this book!

I wish today’s political candidates would read this book. I don’t want to ruin your read of the book. But, it’s more than just a novel. The characters are interestedly developed and you think you are with them as they go through each day.Get it today.

I loved the character of Jeff Ackerman and how the author used this "Unlikely Candidate" to unmask the left supporting main stream media and to present a reasonable argument for believing and living the christian faith. Jeff stated policies and positional tenants with amazing and disarming clarity unlike any other real life candidate we have seen since maybe Reagan. How our country longs for a Jeff Ackerman to lead us out of politics and into renewed pride of country and respect for people. Very well written Already looking forward to your next story.

I could not wait to get my hands on Stephen Palmer‘s debut novel, The Unlikely Candidate. It did not disappoint! Stephen's betrayal of what goes on in the White House and the path to get there was entertaining and informative at the same time. A great group of characters and a story line that kept me up till 1:30 in the morning eagerly awaiting the next chapter. This was an excellent book about politics, religion and the media! Stephen”goes there” in a fun and intriguing way. I can’t wait for his next novel!

I literally laughed out loud at the opening sentence and paused to reread it before laughing some more. I found myself continually stopping to reread and reflect on many parts of the book. It is well written, educational and highly entertaining. Stephen hit a home run with his first (and hopefully NOT last) novel.

Politics, and the national media, is a nasty business, and many Americans wish for an honorable and trustworthy man to fight back, win, and lead. That’s what this story is all about, and it is a wonderful and engaging read. I highly recommend The Unlikely Candidate.
