Batteries work, but the charger died after 2 days
The batteries are generic. They will work, but since they arent licensed the camera wont give you any indication how much battery life is left in them. My factory Battery gives me about 25 minutes of power, and these give about 45 minutes, so that is a plus, especially since the Cannon brand batteries are about $50 each. The downside, I bought this for the charger, and I charged bother batteries once, and then the charger died. Wont charge anything. I can still charge the batteries using the plus that came with the camera, but since I bought this for the wall/car charger, I was very disappointed.

Bad product, useless, non-functional - DON'T BUY
The price of these batteries seems too good to be true in comparison with the Canon OEM battery price - and that is absolutely correct. The batteries won't hold a charge for more than 10 minutes and won't communicate with the camera (for which they say they are made). When you press the power button on the camera a screen pops up saying it can't communicate with the battery, "Do you want to continue." After saying yes, a supposedly fully charged battery will only last for about 10 minutes of video. I say supposedly because there is no way to tell the amount of charge - the battery isn't recognized by the camera so the camera gives no indication and the charging adapter has no indicator.Perhaps the problem was created by Canon who charges an unconscionable amount for an auxiliary battery, and intentionally designs their cameras to reject 3rd party accessories. But it is exacerbated by flaky companies like this, trying to take advantage of a bad situation, passing off useless trash as a solution.

They are not Canon batteries.
These batteries are not Canon, they do not hold a charge for more than 15 minutes, they also do not communicate with my Camera to tell me how much battery life there is. The Charger works fine, but the batteries are useless and even though cheap they were not worth what I paid for them. You cannot call something "Equivalent" if it is not.

Great price, works fine
Compared to $40 a battery elsewhere, this combo park was cheap as dirt. Its not official Canon batteries, so the camcorder displays "battery not recognized, use anyway?" I clicked yes, and its been fine since. They last as long as my stock battery, great deal!

Batteries are perfet, but they fit w bit loosely in the camera. A bit too large, but if they work that's OK

Product said it was compatible with my Canon VIXIA HF R 300, however when I have tried to use the battery it says "cannot communicate with the battery pack."
