My wife was complaining about Back pain I looked for Back belts and researched about them. I concluded it would be the best for to buy. Though high price but, it brought comfort in her life. She can do back breaking jobs with confidence.

This is in addition to the one I left for the Obus Forme Backbelt for Men.You may see my review there and this would be the same. When I gave my mother this, she said she loves it, evidently because she liked using the one I gave my father.So, all in all, it seems to do a great job for the purpose, and again, very well made.

I purchased this brace because of all the five star ratings. I am disappointed. It has already started to unravel. Also, since I am short it is too wide for my frame which makes it extremely uncomfortable and way too hot. I have an old brace about 30 years old that I am still using. More compatible with my short waist.

I have a low back problem that is chronic. This belt puts comforting pressure on the lower back when it is "out" but I've also been wearing it to support my back when I am engaged in normal activities requiring a lot of bending (gardening, housecleaning). It provides support for the sensitive lower back but also reminds me to move correctly!

The belt is well made, but what I don't like is the extra cushioning in the back where you would place it by your spine. I hurt my back and this was very bothersome to me. I will be sending it back for that reason.

Suffering for years from disintegrating disc disease, I have to protect my back any way possible. I purchased the belt in 2010.What I love about this it is that it is designed to better fit a woman's body. This means less riding up to the waist.It is also beneficial in a warm climate, as the belt fabric is designed to breathe.I have recommended the belt to friends who suffer from chronic pain or need support while standing or working.I hope the manufacturer will soon make the belt available again, before mine wears out.

This is my second backbelt. . .previous one was a large (I lost weight and it didn't support as well). I have been a fan of this product for a long time.. . . that is why I replaced the 'big' one with the same product. I mainly use when I am going to be doing a lot of dog grooming.

I have two, and ordered this one for a friend that couldn't believe it would make a difference. She has a manual job that requires a lot of bending and lifting. She wore it the first day and called me to tell me how fabulous it is!

I have had this belt for several years. I just had to replace it with a smaller size as I have lost some weight. I use it primarily at work. If I forget to put it on by the 3rd hour on my feet my back is just killing. As soon as I put the brace on the pain is literally 90% better. It takes the pressure off my lower back and thank god for it. The Brace arrived brand new in a box. Shipping was quick. I’m very happy

If I could give this company a negative rating, I would. My experience with Homedics is that it is essentially a dishonest company, and I would never buy from them again.Homedics sells its products on its own website as well as on Amazon Canada. Without saying so in its Amazon ad, Homedics doesn't honor its own Returns policy for its Amazon customers. Due to confusing sizing information in their Amazon ad (which they tried to blame on Amazon), I mistakenly ordered the wrong size of an item. It wasn't until I printed the Return label that I realized Homedics did not cover the return shipping, which they do for customers who order from their own website. It's like the company has 2 stores, sells the same products in both, but has completely opposite policies in each so that the customers who buy from one store are treated very differently than the customers who buy the exact same products from the other store.By the way, the cost for shipping the item back to Homedics was more than half the price of the item. Amazon, as usual, took care of the problem for me. Cudos to them for being such a great company to deal with. It's not much wonder they're so successful.
