I've been playing with this beginner camera for 3 months now, and I have to say, it is pretty awesome for the money. I wanted to have an actual video camera to capture moments with my children and family on all of our adventures that would be higher quality than my cell phone. This camera has done everything I've needed it to do and surpassed my expectations. We have used it outdoors in all kinds of lighting and the picture quality is fantastic at any light saturation. We've even used it in pitch black on star gazing adventures and the night vision is decent. I especially love that it comes with a remote control and is easily set up to be stand alone from a distance to capture all of us with out anyone having to hold it, so that we are all in the memories together and no one is "left out" because they are holding the cell phone capturing it all!! That to me is the biggest and best plus of this all. Plus with the shooting stabilization we can allow our 4 year old to take home video and not feel like we are getting "sea sick" watching their movie creation! Over all I am beyond pleased with this little unit and highly recommend it to anyone looking to have higher quality video for a decent price!

I had an old camera that no longer met my needs, so I decided to try this one out. Based on the pics in the listing, I thought it would be a bigger one, but it was a tiny (which was a good thing and I can use it when traveling). Now one thing that was a little confusing was the initial setup. I'm not a techie, so I had a little hard time to put that lens cover on, it took me a few minutes. I wish there were instructions how to set it all up and that might be .5 less in rating. That's the only thing that was missing for me. Once I got it done, it was perfect. Easy to film and it even can take pics.

Love the camera and for the price is very good. Very easy to use and handle as it is light. When i got the camera I left it charging for a day and did not charge the batteries. Even though it showed at least 3 bars after filming my first video the battery indicator turned red. I return the camera and got an exact replacement which worked very good. had the new camera within 2 days. The new one appeared to worked but it did not charge the battery full.My solution was to get a charger for the batteries model which is NP-FV5 Plus. the charger (https://amzn.to/3PjBasx) worked great and is charging the batteries without issues to full. this camera is a knock off a more expensive Sony but works well. I do not give it a 5 star cause the battery issues but for the rest for a starter like me and for my youtube video works great!!!!

I was lured in by the 4K headline on a compact camera. Unfortunately the resolution looks worse and more grainy than a regular HD camcorder and the sound quality on the external microphone is worse than using your iphone. All around you are better off using your cell phone to record instead of this. Lesson learned, you get what you pay for.

I purchased this camera for live streaming but it would not work in that mode. Returned it and received full refund. I was sent a second camera from the manufacturer after they believed that there was a defect in the camera I had received. When the new camera came I plugged it in and not only did it work, it worked even better than I had hoped. This camera had great picture quality even after the sun went down and unlike most video cameras, this one even had a zoom function when in PC mode. This is not something you can find at this price point in other cameras. I am glad I gave this camera a second chance!!

Amazing camera. Shoots good quality 4k video i personal plan on using this on projects ti get a second angle on shoots to emsure I can line things up in post or use it as a substitute for the footage I took on my original 4k dslr.The mic is pretty good. I normally don't use in camera mics but its better then my dslr and great for again lining up and as a "backup" audioWhy I wouldn't make it a main camera is because it doesnt shoot raw so color correction is awful but the color is great non the less

Important starting note: the 48mp resolution is misleading. The camera uses a process called interpolation to increase the number of pixels available in the produced image utilizing the built in 13mp sensor.It is very easy to use and quite responsive to the remote. The night vision on it is pretty great, though you have to leave the side open for it to be used. I didn't test the microphone. Every image it produced was exceptionally grainy. The reviews for the app (the included booklet had a QR code that took me to an app called roadcam) are exclusively 2 star and under reviews. It is very lightweight and the touchscreen is extremely sensitive. The batteries it comes with are 2000mah each according to the print on them. The microphone must be charged separately.Overall, it is very easy to use, but lacks quality. I would not recommend and am returning mine.
