Super handy for small jobs in tight places
Very useful tool for making holes, and driving screws in smaller spaces. It takes some effort to manipulate this tool, and to keep it in position during use. Once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy to use. This is the second 90 degree drill adapter I have purchased. The previous one was bright orange and came with a metal 1/4" chuck. Unfortunately, that previous model requires about twice as much vertical space compared to this one. This model (Forgemax) turned out to be far more versatile. The hand-operated chuck is easier too.Note: I only needed this to make five or six holes and drive screws into them. I can't vouch for its durability, but it saved me a lot of difficulty for the work I needed to accomplish.

Actually seems to be made fairly well....
1-20-2013 RevB.Actually seems to be made fairly well - Looks to be heaver duty that the others sold here on Amazon....Fits into tight spaces, has a key-less chuck, seems to be made of all metal, and made right. I used it to drill holes into A/V cabinet for surround sounds speakers. It did its job...Just place the adapters bit into your regular drill, tighten it down, put the drill bit in the 90-Deg adapter (up to a 3/8th-in), and hold on to the center piece and it works as expected (I was thinking of adding traction tape to the center piece, as it kinda thin to hold on to)...Without a drill bit installed in it, it consumes about 4in and is about 6in long.Good luck...

High Quality and Did the job.
I bought this because I had to drill some holes in plate steal and the area was too small for the drill. I ordered this because it looked the same as all the others except it was a better price. It feels very solid and worked just like I thought it would. A friend of mine gave me some "stubby" drill bits that allow the overall size to be pretty small. Does the job don't pay twice as much for the same thing.

Worked as advertised, job was done well
A real lifesaver! I read about failures on these items but my experience was flawless. Had to drill out a bolt from the side of a motor with no clearance, this worked perfectly and happy to say the bolt came out and was replaced in less than an hour. I took it slowly, easy on the drill trigger, and put pressure directly behind the bit only.

Harbor Freight tool
If you are into saving maximum money, be aware that this is a Harbor Freight product that you could probably buy at any Harbor Freight store. But if you enjoy the convenience of buying through an Amazon vendor you can purchase this item with no worries about quality. It's a nice product, decently well built.Update 4/12/13: This product failed the first time I used it. The screw that holds the chuck assembly together broke within 2 minutes and the gears stripped out. I didn't even get one complete hole drilled. Utter failure. What a POS.
