This is nice but..
This is good. Especially when the laser auto level itself. However, it is painful to put it at the right height given that it is adjusting. I end up having to set it up, wait for the auto level, then re-adjust the height by increments until it finally matches.

Not bad for the price
I have a cheaper brand one of these that I mount on a tripod but sometimes it's a little bit too high still. I bought the bosch one because of the clamp so I can mount it lower on the tripod. The laser isn't as strong as the cheaper brand so it fades out at about 2 metres in length.

Good overall
I bought this Bosch Quigo laser 'green' levelling device to assist me in building a lean-to roof.I chose the green laser version (around £20 more expensive) because it has much easier to see lines than the red version in daylight (apparently). It works well and has a useful clamp that allows it to be fixed to beams etc.The only significant failing however, is not being able to lock the beam whic would allow angled surfaces to be duplicated at a distance to the device.I'm not sure if other similar devices have this facility or not, but it would be very useful.Overall, I can recommend this 'green' version.

As advertised I guess but wouldn't recommend. Bad Value. Pretty barebones compared to competitors.
Will start off this review by saying that it works and will give you a level cross lasered onto the oposing wall so no problem there if that's all you need. My big issue with it is that it's overpriced for a pretty barebones tool. At the same time as buying this I also got a HYCHIKA laser level from amazon, cheeper than this and better in almost every way. With this Bosch the laser is dimmer, you can't lock the leveling function and have the beam on at the same time(making it useless for drawing a line on a ceiling or a straight line at an angle, something you might want to occasionally do) and the angle projected by the beam isn't very wide which is a little annoying and reduces it's versatility quite a bit if you're working in a small space. The bosch also isn't any better made than the cheep one I got either, seems about the same if not worse. One positive I will give to this is that the accessories it comes with are really nice, ideal for clamping the thing to pretty much anything and pointing it where you need it, would be even better if you could use it with the leveling function locked and the beam on too but sadly that's not possible, really is a shame as their adjustable clamp mount would be ideal for positioning the thing at any angle and projecting a line.Honestly if you get this you're just paying for the Bosch brand and not for a better product.

Not easy to use
New house, plenty of diy to be done. Thought a laser level would make my life easier so got this as it had the crosshair laser and various other features that sounded better than the basic cheap options.Well I have tried using it in different scenarios on a number of occasions and I just can’t get on with it. The vertical laser is fine but if I want to use the horizontal I just can’t find the right position to get it in using the clamp. It’s fine if I have a flat surface to rest it on but if I want to use it higher up and anywhere with the clamp it’s just a nightmare.I’m sure it will come with practice but I seem to be reverting to manual approach for now.
