Multipurpose Kitchen Gadget - Potato Ricer/Masher/Strainer/Spaetzle Maker/Gnocchi - Premium

I bought this to squeeze water out of grated potato for hash browns, and it works wonderfully. If anyone is thinking of buying a ricer for mashed potatoes, however, I advise you not to bother.

Didn't like it as much, the disc kept sticking to the portions being inserted ..

When I got into the mood to cook a complete German meal from the ground up, I found I needed something to make spaetzle. This is what I ordered. And it works perfectly for making spaetzle. Have done it a couple of times now for perfect noodles each time. Haven't yet used it for ricing potatoes, but I will and am confident it will work well for that. It's very well made. Sturdy construction. Expect it to be usable for many years.

The media could not be loaded.  I’m super excited that I was able to purchase this potato ricer at a reduced price in exchange for an unbiased product evaluation and review.I have wanted something like this for years. Not just for potatoes, but also for cauliflower. My expectations were high so I’m very happy that this Neo Chef unit has turned out to be everything I hoped it would be. Here’s what I’m loving:* Easy to use and clean* Quality materials and craftsmanship* Choice of three strainersThe only “con” for me (though likely a “plus” for many) is that the skin is removed from the potato whether it is put in the ricer face up or face down. I like to eat the skin (at least on red potatoes). Also, the skin removal process causes the strainer to stick to the top of the press and must pulled loose and placed back on the bottom again before straining the next item.Overall, I absolutely love this strainer and couldn’t be happier to have this among my kitchen gadgets. Very pleased with this purchase.
