Don't Expect Too Much
I have been playing guitar for about 50 years and have a couple Fender Strats and an Ovation acoustic, so I didn't expect much at this price. What you get is a low cost Chinese guitar. The neck appears to be relatively straight. The finish is acceptable, but the fingerboard is just painted black, some paint is splashed up onto the sides of the frets and above the 12th fret the edge of the fingerboard had a rough edge that was just painted over. Please note, there are very small dots on the upper edge of the neck to indicate fret position but they start at A (none at G). This is a student guitar and there are NO dots on the neck! I had to decide to work on this one or return it. Well, my talented wife painted dots on the neck. The action is high and with the thick nylon strings it is hard to play clear notes, The strings stretch a LOT so for a student they would get a lot of practice tuning. Luckily the tuner included is a nice one that shows the note and changes color to indicate when you hit the right note. Anyway, I replaced the nylon strings with light metal ones and that threw the intonation off (1st string is a .009). Next we pulled the plastic out of the bridge and my wife shaved it down about 1/16th of an inch. That helped the action and the strings stretch less so the intonation improved. No fret buzzing on any of the strings at any position so the neck looks good so far. We may shave it down maybe another 1/32nd of an inch and I may put a bit heavier strings on it. So far it is an OK beginners guitar, but as it comes in the box.. the action is high, the fingerboard has no position markers, the nylon strings are heavy and stretch a lot so it needs some work to become something a beginner is not going to be totally frustrated with. There are extra strings (which I won't use) and no strap.

So-so
I rate this guitar as something between a real instrument and a toy. I purchased it for my 10-year old granddaughter to see if she would be interested to learn to play. the sound is acceptable, but not great. Guitar action is high. In order not to discourage her I decided to lower the action but this turned out to be a problem. Adjusting the neck would solve bigger part of the problem but there is no truss rod. That leaves two options: lower the saddle and/or the nut. The saddle is already low. I could shave down maybe about 1 mm max. I am still undecided about adjusting the nut: I can possibly take it down by 0.5 mm but not sure if it would have any practical effect because strings are still high. Tuners are OK for the price. Nylon strings need time to settle so be ready to tune the guitar frequently during the fist couple weeks. This is normal. Overall, if you want to get a toy that looks like a real guitar at a reasonable price, it is OK. But if you want an adjustable and playable instrument, look elsewhere.

Great guitar.
Great guitar. It needs some tuning at first, every once in a while, but hopefully, it will get better in time as everyone says. The only not so well thing is the bag - it's too tight for this guitar, and the zipper got broken after a week.Other than that, we enjoy it.

Good Starter Guitar
Good for a starters guitar. It did not come with any tuning so it took quite a bit of time to tune it. The condition was fair.. I couple blemishes on the face of the guitar but overall it was in good condition. It plays nice, with good tone. The narrow neck and nylon strings are perfect for beginners.

HAPPY with this guitar! ❤️
I gave up on my beautiful full sized $400 acoustic guitar several years ago because I developed arthritis in my hands, but I’ve longed to play ever since. After much research I decided to take a chance with this one. It was the right choice! I love the shorter body, the shallower box and the friendlier strings all at a great price. It’s brought me back to guitar. Thank you so much for this more appropriate instrument. Wish I had STARTED with this one in the first place.

The instrument arrive promptly. It had a small chip on an edge of the item but not significant enough to be worth returning it. Besides, it is for a person just learning to play it and at the price of it one can't go wrong.

Great beginner gutiar
This guitar is great for beginners, although it does take some time to stretch out the strings.

Works great for our 8 year old
Works great for our 8 year old. Strings took some constant re-tuning at first, especially the bottom 4. Overall a great product!

Neck too narrow, if you're switching from typical classic guitar.
Huge disappointment and it got us into plenty of trouble! It took weeks to realize what precisely is wrong with the instrument - neck it too thin (strings too close to each other, therefore stiff as a**). Which would probably not matter for a teen, doing garage gigs, but not in our case.My son is 10, not at all a beginner. His 1/2 size instrument broke beyond repair just 3 weeks before a practical exam. As an year or two from now he will be ready for full size, I decided to rather invest into 3/4 for the time being only; but not on the very bottom of the price list. 60 GBP is just 20 pounds below most similar decent shop options! He couldn't get it why the instrument feels SO awkward and impossible to handle. A local shop advised we change the strings, for 20+ extra pounds (or purchase second hand guitar for the same sum). Money and time wasted in vein!My son used a borrowed guitar with appropriate neck width to prepare for the exam and a week before it, I purchased a 3/4 size classical Yamaha. He did not stop playing his whole modest repertoire for the following weeks to come day after day, out of final relief and long expected feeling of ease.I would never again invest into such half-cut options! If it wasn't for the total stress and hustle around the exam, plus the inconvenience of returning items of suck size/dimensions, I would have sent it back to the seller for immediate refund. Now I don't want to even see it.If you're not particularly dependent on size variations, try it. I wouldn't recommend it to a beginner - such neck width is too niche. And the gig bag is rubbish; should you like the guitar, better compliment is with something padded, with side handles and two on the back.

Ordered for children to learn guitar
Ordered two of these for my boys starting lessons at school. I was very impressed with the quality for the money I spent. The kit comes with all the accessories you need to start learning to play. Would definitely recommend for anyone about to start learning to play.
