Rat Rods: Rodding's Imperfect Stepchildren

Excellent book. I really enjoyed reading it. Inspired me to continue on my quest of my hot rod.. And enjoy the rat rod look. And enjoy hot rodding again. I hope they do a sequel. It is worth it.

This was a fun book! I love old cars and trucks and have a 46 Dodge pickup that is very 'ratty'. The pics are great and the information about the cars and owners was entertaining!

We bought this as a gift for our brother. He loved it!!

This is a well designed and written book: the pictures are excellent and are great inspiration for anyone considering building a Rat. The varieation of vehicles is refreshing, and hopefully we will see Volume II in the not distant future!

OK...I was a bit skeptical when ordering this, as I had ZERO idea what to expect as far as "girlie" pix, if any. Well, it came quickly, and when I paged through it, quite carefully, I was SO HAPPY that it didn't have any little boy blushing pix in it. There were 2 very tasteful lady pix, and page after page of colorful Rat Rod pix and their stories!!! I highly recommend this book for ANY age, and ANY gender, that has a fancy for the Rat Rod!

Great pictures, lots of eye candy for the enthusiast. Great descriptions. My husband loves it!

this book is awsome after many years of restoring cars to show winning condition this book puts a different light on the way that rust and old faded paint can look real cool the photos in this book are spot on a credit highly recommended

Great photos . Start with a good grille and build a rat rod around it. No painting or polishing required, just imagination.

Awesome book if you like ratrods

Bought this as a gift for my other half, was so excited to see it arrive and when it did, the book had been water damaged! Was not happy with buy and will be returning it!
