This thing was easy to assemble and finishes off our stone fire pit very nicely. I built the pit myself so this feature will not only help keep a cleaner look long term, it helped hide the many imperfections in my construction. It's a lot heavier than I expected but I really like how sturdy it is so I definitely view that as a plus. It's not cheap but I think it was worth the money.
