I was gifted with one of those funky light bulbs recently - many colors, dots and stars, looks like an acid trip (I guess). This is an unbeatable price, it sits on my kitchen counter always on, no problems!

Its a lamp so not a lot going on. Works good, worth the money.

Get the bulb cover Cage , looks better too, can be placed anywhere you need an old fashioned bulb, NICE.

Unfortunately, I ordered this one because of the dimensions that were in the product description, which are NOT correct. I've just checked the photos, and the dimensions there ARE correct. I have a few lamps this style, and this isn't my favorite; it's very light and feels a little cheap. It's not worth returning, so I'll just keep it and redesign the parts I had already designed to go around it. Not ideal; I'd have gone with a less expensive wooden one I've gotten before if I'd known they were just going to be the same size anyway.

I am changing my review from to a 5 because after 5 years of daily use, "Where the heck is the Edison bulb?" original is now, "I can't believe this thing still works!"There is no lightbulb or cage. But this seller is not just some cheap Chinese junk company, they were PROFESSIONAL and COMMUNICATIVE, and care about both customer and business and besides this base outliving the 5 + Edison bulbs and spooky fire Halloween bulbs in the years owned, I appreciate a humanness to a transaction these days when necessary. That's all to rare. So read descriptions closely and what you will get is a high quality base that will last for years and hold whatever kind of fitting bulb you throw at it and seller will respond to inquiries.

Needed a simple lightbulb base to convert an old decorative lighted sign that had an old cord I no longer trusted. Was easily able to set this inside the sign and now I can light it up again! It’s been years. Very happy with this. Doesn’t run hot at all.

I've wanted one of these for a long time. Exactly what I wanted. Has socket switch and a switch on the cord which is a normal length. Though I have mine on a smart plug.

The media could not be loaded. Ok so to start i’m not sure where it specifically says other then the pictures for the two options but if you want the lamp with the wooden base you need to select brown, black is a different style without the wooden base. That being said i ordered the brown option with the wooden base and i love it! Seems well enough constructed, has some weight too it, & the dimmer is functional and a nice touch. It’s a vibe ! Perfect for showcasing cool lightbulbs.

Got this to use as a light for the living room at night. Works great as a night light, but not to read by.

Looks great but wish the cord was a bit longer and the toggle switch closer up the cord. The first time I turned the knob on the light it made a huge pop but only during the initial first time power up
