Leg Cramps? This product works !!
As I have "matured in age" I began to sometimes at night wake up with horrific upper thigh leg cramps. The kind that you can barely move and you need to walk but you can't move. Kind of writhing in pain, sick at your stomach, break out in a sweat leg cramps. Grab a bottle of this and rub the lotion on the area of pain. I'm blessed, my husband will jump up, grab the lotion and put it on for me. But, when traveling for business I carry this with me & have had to use it by myself. This was recommended to me by a pharmacist at People's Pharmacy in Austin, TX and I do my best to never run out of it. Grateful I found it on Amazon. My leg cramps normally happen if I am dehydrated or sit too long in one position....flying dehydrates and you sit for hours. This product is a Godsend. I love my Ancient Minerals Magnesium lotion. I also have the gel by this company and it works too. You can also use it on foot cramps or cramping calves. It works. This product comes with or without melatonin. I keep both. Melatonin one is great for night. I have two bottles beside my bed on the nightstand. This stuff works!!

Not the best magnesium option
I have a leg injury and was hoping this magnesium gel with aloe would be a nice addition. The gel ends up being very sticky and uncomfortable. I have to wash my hands every time I use this. Last time, I wore pajama pants all night hoping it would absorb into my skin, which it did not. I had to scrub the leg the next morning to get it off...... the directions state to wipe or wash off after use, so I guess that's why.not a fan of this magnesium gel

This product and brand awesome
This product and brand awesome. I use it for trigger point pain. And restless legs. I prefer the regular oil over this. This is a little messy. And my skin doesn’t react to it as well. But I cannot express how much of a lifesaver this product line is. Get it all and find what’s right for you. Caution don’t use on open skin it will burn. It might itch. But I’ve noticed the longer I tend to use the product rather overtime the itching goes away. If it bothers you too much try and leave it on for about 20 minutes and then wipe it off you’re still get a Lotta good affect from itFor best results I take a shower, exfoliate, dry off then use it before bed. I wake up in the morning and clean it off. And whatever muscle pain you had if it’s not totally gone will be significantly reduced.

Woke me up each night with a burning feeling.
The media could not be loaded. I am happy to report that I am not menopausal. But this gel had me thinking that I was having night sweats or hot flashes. I woke up every night that I applied it, feeling a burning feeling with sweating. I tried different places on the body, including the feet. The result is a great deal of discomfort. Once I stopped applying it, the night burning went away.I might not mind it on a cold day, but I definitely do not recommend using it at night.Maybe it is my skin? Seems like plenty of people like this product. Buyer beware that this can happen to you.

Understand what you use this for
No, it is not for pain relief. It is for a direct application of magnesium to muscles, tendons and nerves. Direct is far better than systemic (oral) magnesium. For tendonitis, it is fantastic, as tendonitis is commonly caused by low magnesium. When tendon cells cannot get enough magnesium, they use calcium as a replacement, which means over time it HARDENS them causing damage. For muscles a reasonable expectation is to soothe soreness. For nerve problems (which my wife has) is can be used to facilitate nerve healing which is a very slow process. You need to get a feel for where best to apply for nerves in ones' legs. FYI. after my 7/27/18 fluroquinolone toxicity attack (never use Levaquin, Cipro, EVER), I went from crutches to a cane to 90% recovery of leg and shoulder tendons in 10-12 weeks. TWO full cover applications a day, plus one Epson salt bath plus 800-1100 mg systemic as well. Total magnesium IMMERSION is one of the crucial parts of the recovery. If you wait to see doctors, and wait for the next specialist, and then wait for the orthopedic, FQ toxicity will cause PERMANENT damage in 2-3 months, and you will join the 10's of thousands that are permanently crippled. READ about how to use magnesium correctly, and what to expect it to do.
