Looks Great, Gets the Job Done
Despite the many negative comments, I went ahead and ordered 25 of these because of their looks. They are GORGEOUS. The colors are vibrant and the hardware adds a delightful touch of bling. Some here have complained that they are difficult to assemble, flimsy, and won't stand up on their own. My college-sophomore son assembled them while I filled them with magazines. He had all 25 assembled before I could even fill the first eight. Judging by some of the complaints here, assembly is not fool-proof. So if you are a fool, don't buy these. If you are not a fool, you should be good to go.As for these organizers being flimsy and falling down, yes, they are light weight, and you could knock them down if you are clumsy, or a strong wind could blow them over. You shouldn't use them to hold your magazine while you are on the deck of an aircraft carrier, guiding in fighter jets. (If I were you commanding officer, I would have a discreet word with you about reading magazines on the flight deck.)I am attaching a picture of how they look in my home. Oh, look--there's one standing up by itself!Fold them, fill them, and shove them into the book case. They'll be great.

Not Heavy-Duty But Fit My Needs
No, these boxes are not exactly tough and strong -- if you're looking for a CD box that you will be accessing frequently, I'd move on to another product. That being said, I had saved all our CD's to hard drives but wanted to store the actual discs in totes. I started putting them into the totes and quickly realized it would be a nightmare if I ever needed to find a specific disc. Therefore, I went to Amazon looking for inexpensive, non-bulky boxes to separate the discs into groups. I purchased three sets and now have two totes of beautifully separated discs. I numbered and labelled each box, copied my iTunes album list to a spreadsheet, and put the tote # and box # next to each album. A copy of my list went into the totes and a copy is saved to my computer. I was able to fit 8 of these CD boxes into each tote (this will obviously vary depending on tote size). Each box seems to hold approximately 29 normal CD's with cases. The colors are fun and pretty much matched my computer screen (maybe half a shade lighter). The plastic is not thick -- think of a manila or file folder, only made of plastic. Assembling the boxes wasn't difficult and took maybe a minute per piece. My advice would be to pre-fold, then start inserting the tabs from bottom to top. The tabs are slightly bigger than the holes (this is a good thing as it keeps the box together) so don't try to jam the whole tab in at once... start by putting in one side of the tab and then other part of the tab will click easily into place. Assembling the lids was a slight pain.I would highly recommend these boxes to someone looking to store CD's in a tote or even on a shelf ... as long as they're not looking for something "elegant" and they won't be moved all that often.

These are great! Fold them well on the scored lines and you'll have no trouble!
These are nice, and now they're cheaper so I'm going to grab another set! These are not difficult at all to put together and have them look squared off with straight sides. They just need to be folded before you attempt assembly. I have arthritis and was able to do it! They are the perfect size for magazines and patterns I've collected. If you need something to be more portable, these might not be for you. They aren't sturdy like a typical molded plastic storage box, but they will sit on a shelf holding stuff, and that's just fine! Colors are nice too!

Cheap quality, but doing what I wanted them to.
I read the other reviews ahead of time, so I knew these were flimsy plastic that wouldn't probably stay up by themselves. But, I still ordered them as I planned to put them on a bookshelf side by side to hold up stacks of papers and things that don't sit up on a bookshelf well by themselves. First thing that I didn't love was the smell, whew! Some plastic things aren't that bad smelling, but these for some reason made me have flashbacks to some kind of sad memory. Maybe a funeral or something? I don't know but it took my breath away for a bit till I got used to it. These were a little tricky to put together, but if you crease all the folds well they will make a box kind of shape ok. I was able to fit the five of them all on one shelf with room for one of my plastic more sturdy magazine holders I had already to fit right next to them. I have all my daughter's kindergarten curriculum in one, my large teacher manual and some folders for finished work in another, all my printer paper, photo printer paper, and label printer paper together in another one, and some extra preschool workbooks notebooks colored paper, coloring books all in another. Haven't filled the last one yet and they are all standing up straight without collapsing my empty one. These are for sure cheap quality, but I just wanted something to help me section off some of our workbooks, school books, and printer papers and this is doing the trick so far. I have no plans to take them off of the shelf as I'm sure the bottom would just fall out from under them and spill everything everywhere. But no need for me to take them off the shelf. I can kinda slide them a bit forward and grab what I want pretty easily. Maybe these are only $1 store quality, I probably overpaid at 12 something for the pack of 5, but I did like the way they looked in the front since these will be where people see them and I wanted something a little more polished looking than plain cardboard ones. Hope that helps someone in your decision.

Caixas organizadoras
São bonitas, bom tamanho, porém são frágeis. Servem apenas para organizar papelada, itens leves. Por serem frágeis, não são recomendadas para serem transportadas de um lado para o outro.
