This is a horrid printer, the quality of the image is faded even after turning the darkness setting to 15 (the highest option). It's also supposed to be "smart" and auto read your label size after you press and hold the button a few seconds until it beeps, but it very quickly forgets the size and starts jamming and/or printing things off center, and you have to open the top to remove the label or it'll rip. I bought it thinking it would be fine based on reviews, but I was wrong. Since I haven't started selling anything until now I'm past the return threshold and stuck with a very expensive piece of junk. The only good thing was the ease to install, but that doesn't make up for a poor product.UPDATE 7/7/21: This company reached out to me past my return date and offered to refund or replace the product as its malfunctioning performance suggests damage during shipment. I opted to refund since I've already purchased a replacement printer so I can't verify if a replacement works, but I've upgraded my rating to reflect this unusually high level of customer service.

The media could not be loaded.  This thermal printer is absolutely incredible. I was on the market for a printer and did all types of research on all the big brands. However, they were very costly, and the reviews always came with negative ones.As soon as I was going press purchase on a popular brand, this recommended Aobio printer popped up and I decided to take a look!It had zero reviews at the time since it is a new company so I was a little nervous at first. However, the price was unbeatable, the size is so sleek, and the size is so compact compared to the other clunky ones that look like they were made in 90’s and look completely outdated.I decided to take a chance and boy did it not disappoint!Pros:-Fast Shipping-Fast Installation (5 minutes)- Compact design-Minimalistic look and aesthetic-Affordable-Quality printsCons:-I couldn’t find a single one.This is the perfect thermal printer for your small business, trust me, there is not a better one out there! It is everything you could want! So glad I took a chance!

I bought this product to print shipping labels for my eBay store. I liked the device at first, but after just 6 months the device started malfunctioning. Sometimes it turns on fine, other times I have to wiggle the power cord around just to get the device to turn on. It has gotten worse and worse and is barely operational at this point.I contacted Aobio customer service and they were extremely unhelpful. They would not honor the 1 year warranty and would not repair/replace the device. They recognized that it could be a problem with the power cord or the "motherboard" of the device but instead of being a decent company and offering to repair THEIR FAULTY DEVICE or at the very least send a new power cord, they sent me a link to their power cord listing on amazon and offered a measly $5 off coupon.Upon reading other reviews, it seems like many people have had the same issue with the device and with the company not honoring the warranty.Will never buy from this company again. Buyer beware!

Two years ago I purchased a label printer (from Amazon) that had an internal roll, so changing labels was cumbersome. But back then printers like this were all in excess of $200.Well that first printer died and I needed a replacement. Skeptical of the lower price and was worried about quality/ease of use.You can forget all those things, the setup, super fast and EASY. Swapping label types, also super easy. And once you feed in the first label it does a scan of the size so it knows what it’s print area is. This one is worth it if you have a small shop or do lots of mailing. No ink, no wasted labels, all things good for shipping.

The print quality is great. If you ever have a problem, their customer service agents are very attentive and helpful. Problems are rare, but if there are any, they are quickly and efficiently resolved.

Having a small business, a printer is very much needed and this one is perfect! It’s a really good size and doesn’t take up space. It’s super easy to set up and it comes with a in depth video for more visual instruction if that’s preferred. Not only can you print shipping labels but plain black and white stickers. The sticker labels themselves are super inexpensive and you save so much money in the end going thermal instead of buying ink and paper!

Bought it as a cheap alternative to a Zebra. Ended up having to buy a Zebra anyway.PROS: it's relatively cheap. Small form factor. Setup is really simple. Works well with anything you'll print from Pirate Ship.CONS: Stopped working after 500 labels. I run a small Etsy shop -- did 500 sales over the course of a year and then the printer checked out. Getting major arcing around the power connector if I unplug it and plug it back up. And one print job is corrupt in the printer memory. It prints the first row and then errors out with the label halfway out the printer. I do tech support for a living -- I know how to purge all this stuff and I just can't get it to clear. Power cycling, print spooler, reinstall....even try a different computer and it still prints the exact same one line and then hangs up.And it might be nitpicking, but the cable design is terrible. Directly below the feed for the labels. So you can't place a stack of labels behind it. You either have to balance them on top of the printer or feed them in one at a time.

This little printer has been a game changer for our small business. Super quick and easy to use, I've had no issues at all with it since we got it. There was a small learning curve at first just trying to get things to print to the right size, but once I figured it out it's been a breeze since. Only downside is that it doesn't connect to your computer via bluetooth and has to be plugged in, but given how much less costs compared to others I'm more than ok with plugging it into my laptop when printing. Overall, extremely impressed and would definitely recommend.
