E for Easy? E for Excellent 🤙
Okay, hear me out. The instructions make it seem so much more difficult than it is. Literally bolt on a few screws, focus the laser, download the app, upload a pic and boom.Easy, the app makes it easy, the quality is great.Definitely recommend.

Very satisified and happy with my 30W laser and the NEJE brand!
Loving this laser so far. It does good cuts and has very detailed abilities for engraving. The NEJE software is a good starter software preloaded with tons of graphics so you can try out your new laser engraver. However, it is somewhat limited in functionality and customizability, so to truly unlock this laser's potential, I would highly advise investing in Lightburn. Any serious hobbyist should consider that and to finish it off - invest in making an air assist mod to super clean cuts with no burnt/browned edges. This laser is very capable so those two upgrades are very worthwhile investment.Unfortunately my laser stopped working a few days into owning it. However, after emailing NEJE, they determined my diode had issues and sent me a new one! Shipping wasn't very quick. It took roughly two weeks to get here. However, the customer service I experienced was top notch. I have been in the 3d printing/maker hobbies for a long time so I understand that sometimes these machines can have quirks. The difference is the manufacturer's support and after-sale service was there and the replacement was easy.Im still rating this 5 stars. My laser is perfectly fine now: Running Lightburn on Mac OSX and the laser is modded with a 3D printed nozzle and a compact 15psi airbrush compressor :)

Awesome starter for laser engraving, but only uses their app and no other (Lightburn, etc.)
Just got this a day ago but was very happy to have it etching/burning within a half hour of opening the box. Super easy to set up and use. You HAVE to use their app (on a phone or computer) which is a bummer, but it's an entry-level unit so it'll do for now. I don't like how all these companion apps need ALL your phone permissions just to talk to a laser engraver (via Bluetooth).I installed the app and it wanted to upgrade to next version, but I couldn't get that newer version to connect with BT, so went back to previous version and it connected fine. I will say the app is extremely simple and easy to get going quickly. Pics included are the app's default images and are my first tests on some different materials (front and back of thin leather) and I am very impressed with the quality and resolution. It's not fast, though. The lobster took about 10 minutes and the turtle about 30 minutes. I think you can adjust the settings to make it faster but it doesn't engrave as deeply. Also, it's literally burning whatever it's engraving so it can be smoky and smelly. I did it in a garage with fans going and it was fine. In better weather I might use it outside since it's so compact and portable.Overall I'd give it 5 stars, but the software app is clunky and I hate the permissions required. Also, I tried creating some text in the app to test and could not get it to work. Looks like I'll resort to creating an image of text in Photoshop (it'll look better, anyway!) and simply importing it. But overall I am thrilled by the nice results and for getting started with an under $200 engraver, it seems like a pretty good choice.

Disappointment is kind of an understatement.
The media could not be loaded. Â I had high hopes. I had experimented with the smaller counter part, and it seemed to be faster and better with a 2.5w than this 5. You can see from the video....its slow......sooooo slow. Set at 1 ms burn time. Software is easy, but limited at best. Cheap enough to keep without going through the trouble of returning, but expensive enough that it gets under your skin.Probably best to just spend a little more and get a better engraver. If the smaller counter part wasn't so small, i would most likely just buy that one.None of the sample materials came with it. It has a air line for the air assist, but no instructions or knowledge on what to purchase or setup. Came with things I didn't need....and a lot missing I could have used. Buy a better brand.

My Wonderful NEJE 3 MAX v2 E40
The media could not be loaded. Â NEJE laser engraver &a variety of modules I have been using since early 2021. Now I'm totally sold on the 3 MAX V2 E40's performance with it's refined focus point & power doing fine grayscale images at blazing speeds on multiple materials. I couldn't be more satisfied with the results the 3 MAX V2 E40 is giving me with just a few minutes after assemble. I connected to Lightburn with no problems what so ever.Assemble was easy to understand and do all though it is large it comes together wonderfully. Its great work area is amazing I mounted it on 3/4 plywood 24" X 48" and covered the wood with aluminum sheet.Every feature worked perfectly. I do enjoy the 3MAX V2 and my hat is off to NEJEcome visit use on NEJE_Laser on face book lots of videos and images.

Hard to get the hang of
This is my second laser. I had previously purchased a really cheap one that worked great even though it only used its proprietary software. It worked great until it stopped and that was it but I didn't expect much from an $80.00 laser. This laser was well reviewed and I decided to give it a try. Connecting it to Lightburn or through bluetooth was easy enough. Initially I had no problems using it to cut balsa wood. Now I am struggling with the settings and unable to get it to work properly. I am sure it's user error but I don't think this is the best option for beginners.
