Solved my bird problem
My home has a main porch as well as an upper porch and is primarily a victorian styled residence. Birds have nested under the deck of the upper porch, or in the overhead of the main porch. The building of the nests and the resultant bird droppings not only caused a real mess, but posed a health issue.I researched the electronic repelents, bird spikes and also the Owls and Hawk decoys, but understood limited success with these. Chemicals were not a good solution since I did not want to harm the birds, just stop them from building their nests. I removed the existing lattice and trim pieces and stapled the bird screen to the main wooden supports. I then replaced the lattice and trim pieces. The birds continued to try and rebuild their nests but became frustrated after several weeks. The 3/4" opening of the screen seems to be keeping them out once and for all. I found the product very easy to install, durable and cost effective. The black color makes it almost invisable and does not detract from the appearance of my home. It also allows for drainage of water and great air flow for drying.I realize I have an unusual situation and it was a lot of work to complete the "fix." I would buy it again, but perhaps in a smaller quantity. Delivery was rapid and accurate. Thanks Amazon!

No more hawk attacks
After 3 hawk attacks on my chickens in 3 days, even with me standing next to one in the run, something had to be done and I wasn't ready to spend hundreds of dollars for a covered run, when we just needed to put something over the top of our electric mesh fence. We covered the entire run with this mesh and the hawks don't even come by anymore. It took me and the ladies a couple of days to relax and trust the hawks couldn't get in anymore, but things seem pretty secure now.

Bumblebees have some issues
Great bird netting with one exception .... we have Big bumblebees in Alaska and the hole are a little small for them so they climb through the holes instead of flying through like they do with other brands we’ve used but they are persistent little workers and I made the a path on one side of a bit bigger holed netting so it’s all fine.

Bird-x standard bird netting, so far so good!!!!
The reviews of this product in various sizes suggested many people liked it but many people had a hard time getting it unfolded and put up. I had planned on buying one that was much more square as i wanted to drape it over a frame (of aluminum electrical conduit) i had put up around my nectarine tree (the birds live it along with the other fruit trees) but the reviews of this specific product (100' x 14') seemed to suggest it wasn't as hard to unfold and put up. This meant i would have to cut a couple of sections out but i just measured a section of the yard, rolled it out and cut it. Figured out which were the edges and then measured and put on a white zip tie to locate where the sections should be that would be on the top edges of my frame. I hoisted it up (very light weight and strong from what i see) BY MYSELF and PLACED IT ON THE FRAME BY MYSELF!! I was actually surprised by how well it went up not having anyone to help me (the frame is about 10' wide and 8 to 9" long and 9" high). Obviously having the frame helped rather than just draping it over the tree (by the way, draping netting over a tree can cause the limb growth to be cattywampus (crooked) if it's left on too long which i didn't want to happen which is one reason i put a frame around it and the second because i figured it would be easier to put on which it was. Once on the frame i zip tied sections to the frame and am really please with how it all worked out (had tried the mono-filament fishing line approach to keeping birds out which can work well and has for me but the wind kept moving my line around and i figured what the heck lets take all the issues out of it..

Perfect for my gazebo
I have a gazebo that birds loved to hang out under and it was driving me insane having to sweep up feathers and wash poop off the cement almost daily. I ordered this to see if it would work and was a tad skeptical but it solved my issue! I also got little tiny hooks that I placed every few inches, it may be a bit of overkill, but it allowed the mesh to be stretched evenly. I can’t recommend this enough if you have a gazebo and birds that like to hang out under there.

Pleasantly surprised with the quality
When it came time to replace the 1 inch netting around our garden, we began reading reviews and obtaining samples. When our shipment arrived, the first thing we noticed was how much heavier/stronger the fabric was compared to all of our samples, some costing more. Another thing my wife noticed after we installed the netting was that, when she worked inside the netting, it did not tangle or catch on her clothing like the netting we had been using.* * * * * LATER * * * * * *It is now August of 2014, 3 years after installing the netting. It has held up well except where the fabric rubs the outside corners of our stone framed garden. The sharp stone corners have taken their toll on the fabric requiring frequent mending. We will be replacing it this year with the industrial 1/2 inch netting offered by the same company. We could effect repairs and preventative measures, but this summer a rather smallish bird made a surprise discovery. Because the netting is flexible, this little guy learned how to fly straight into the netting, tuck in his wings, and squeeze right through without so much as a hiccup. He wreaked havoc with our tomatoes, so a tighter weave is in order.

Great buy for the bird netting!
The racoons have been rolling back my turf to eat the grub. I originally purchased a motion sensing sprinkler to keep the racoons from destroying my yard. unfortunately, the managed to dig up the end of the yard where the sprinkler can not reach.I decided to try using bird net. My neighbors have laid down netting.....which has deterred the racoons. However, they purchased their netting from the local big box home center. They paid $25 for netting which is 8' x 10'. You can't go wrong with this bird net. I managed to lay in over my backyard with lots left over..........enough to also do my front yard just in case. Its a GREAT buy for the price!!

Damn groudhogs
The net is made of very small gauge plastic but it is surprisingly sturdy for it's size. My toe got stuck in it while walking and it didn't tear up. The groundhog climed on it but fortunately, I saw it while it did it.

Happy with this product...
I am very happy with this product. This is a large roll of netting that is reasonably priced, strong, and useful for many purposes. Most recently I covered our junipers for winter to keep the leaves from collecting.
