I have used other filters, namely GE and have found that these filters work as well, if not better than the GE filters, yet cost much less. Very satisfied with their functioning.

The price is good but filters are made in China. Was looking for USA made and these are not the case. Look packaged OK and such. Expect they'll wokr okay.

I'm not the type of individual who goes and buys non-OEM at the drop of a (Stensen) hat, I have to be convinced that it will meet (or better yet, exceed) expectations.When I first bought the house, the previous owner had the Culligan P-5 type filters in the system and I was replacing it every five to six weeks. A couple of years ago, I decided to buy some P-1's because I wanted to make sure my family was getting the best they could with what we had. It started to get a little pricy as the filters were a couple of dollars more and I had to change them every three weeks now.Looking for another alternative, I looked into these filters and after doing my due-diligents, I decided to purchase a box of them. I am very happy with them, I still change them every three weeks but now it isn't costing me an arm and a leg.
