Sand Plates Useless
Do not by this combo package. Tried filling the sand plates - They only hold 5 lbs of sand, not the listed 9 lbs.The vest seems good pretty comfortable and easy to adjust

Adjustment straps slipped like crazy
With 20 pounds total in the vest adjustment straps slipped through the cheap plastic keepers like mad and one of the shoulder straps came totally undone twice in four minutes requiring me to abandon the work out and tape the damn thing in place.Expect to replace the keepers with a higher quality plastic item with aggressive teeth to keep the web straps from slipping like mine did.Using playground sand from Lowe’s I could get no more than 6 pounds in the sand pockets give me the max total of 12 pounds without adding additional barbell plates.
