I got it for a first grader, but it’s more for babies. It’s not loud enough and quite small. There are limited music options. It’s sturdy though. It’s the best it could be for the price.

I bought this for my nine year old to try out while we looked for a better one. He loves drumming so I thought this would be a good starter. You have to slam the stick on the pads to even get a sound some of the time. The volume doesn't really change when you push the button either. My so refuses to even use it because how hard it is to play on it. The sound is terrible.
