Durable, good looking and richly padded. I have washed them hundreds of times and they do not degrade with time. I wear them when I am just kicking around and not hiking. They are plush and super comfortable provided that your shoes are supple and are sized properly for you feet. Too thick to wear with your tux and tight shoes, but great for just about any other type of casual shoe. They are made sturdy with the finest materials and are guaranteed for life. I have owned them for about five years and never have returned them. The guarantee seems legit and the premium price is worth it. They really can last for a lifetime.

I purchased a pair of these in September 2019 and I wanted to wear these out just to see how long they would last. Most socks from big box stores that I wear barely last a month before holes appear in the toes and heel. I wore them almost every other day for nine months before finally a small hole wore in the heel. I am in the process of taking advantage of the unconditional lifetime warranty and, while I wait for a replacement pair to arrive, I ordered another three pairs. Wonderful product, and a wonderful company. Would highly recommend.

These socks are definitely worth every penny. I first bought 2 pair just to try them out with hiking, but after 2 days of use I immediately ordered 6 more pairs. They are cushioned which really helps keep your feet comfortable. They also keep your feet and themselves dry. Normally after a day in my insulated water proof boots my feet and socks are soaked. But not with these. The moisture wicking is so good that they don't even feel a little moist at the end of the day.And having a lifetime warranty is a great aspect. But I'm guessing I may never need to use it.

I now own a handful of pairs of Darn Tough socks and recently put a load of mileage on them wandering all over England for a bit more than a week. Although your particular shoes/boots also help to determine how your feet will feel after LOONG days of walking, I found that the padding in the Darn Tough socks was generous and well placed. Paired with my favorite pair of boots, they definitely helped to reduce foot fatigue below what I would have expected to experience each day. Further, I found these excellent at managing moisture and getting it away from my feet. Despite all the walking, I didn't develop so much as a hot spot, let alone any blisters. Very happy with these socks so far and looking forward to putting many more comfortable miles on them.

These socks are great I like the quality and the way they feel ! just need to find and buy a pair that ride higher on my leg ??!!? no complaints at all yet !!!

Amazing socks. A bit expensive.

I bought these a couple months ago for hiking. They work great for that and I even started wearing them to play basketball. My old socks would cause rub on my ankles after a few games but these work great. They are a little hot at times but the comfort is well worth it.
