Sudoku for Kids promotes cognitive and perceptual skills such as logical and rational thinking, problem-solving, sequencing, pattern recognition, visual and spatial sense, and abstract reasoning. Sudoku for Kids also encourages a growth mindset, for players to develop patience, perseverance, sustained attention to detail, and decision-making skills. Best of all, Sudoku for Kids reduces access to screen time, makes learning fun, creates healthy competition, boosts IQ levels, and enhances quality learning time. This game was created for my young kids, to teach them the premise and basic rules of Sudoku. The wood tiles offer a multisensory approach to playing the game where the pieces can be arranged and rearranged into grids without having to erase and re-erase answers as done with traditional paper-and-pencil Sudoku puzzles. The simplest 4x4 challenges allow novice players, as young as 6 years of age, to learn the foundation of this game of logic and reasoning. Sudoku for Kids is made with natural wood material with non-toxic water-based paint and is certified under both the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) and the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA).

Really neat product
I bought this product for my mother, who had a stroke three years ago. Fortunately she didn’t suffer too much damage (despite the amount of bleeding she had) and while she was at the hospital getting all the rehabilitation, I noticed she seemed much brighter and younger, even more so than before she had a stroke, thanks to the stimulation she was getting. This product is a perfect size (not too big or not too small) and touching wooden pieces is quite soothing. The manual that comes with it is self-explanatory and user-friendly, and in order to play this game I had to set it up for her each time (by placing red tiles) and hand it over to her, which triggered good communication, which is also important for stimulating your brain. You can play Sudoku on your phone or computer, but human communication is crucial, so from this point of view also I really love the product. The wooden box is so neat that it almost looks like a treasure box. I bought this for my mom but I bet many children will cherish and enjoy this also.

Sudoku Love
I love this sudoku board game! I use this in my classroom as an additional math game for my students. They like solving the puzzles and I like that they are using their logic and reasoning skills to think outside the box. I also like that there is no prep needed from me as it comes with a booklet containing preset puzzles and an answer key. This has turned out to be a great addition to my classroom! I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to introduce kids to the game of sudoku in a hands-on, engaging way.

Great for quiet time
Lovely, beautiful wooden game, like games we played at grandma's house. Beautiful pieces and storage box. Touching and moving the pieces is calming, the kinesthetic and tactile nature can be soothing for adults and children alike. The fact that it is a more simple version of the traditional 9x9 sudoku allows for the games to be shorter - just right for a mental break from harder work.

Sudoku with a kinesthetic twist
I bought this for my young teenage son and I to do together. We are both new to sudoku, and it has been fun learning how to do sudoku on this interactive board. Our goal is to improve our skills in 10 minutes a day! It's a really nice wooden product - good quality and nice, simple packaging. It would make a great gift too.
