I have used the cheapest ($5.99) Wiss scissors from Home Depot to cut UD Kevlar sheets for our shop for the past about 10 years until it couldn't cut it anymore. So I went to Home Depot to get another and find out it's now $8, so I decided to go with this one instead. For a few bucks more and I get the titanium coating which helps to keep the fabric coating gum off the edge. Just as I expected, the quality is excellent, it has some weight which is great like expensive tailor scissors. Highly recommended!!!

I bought another product in which I thought it was good, but it couldn't cut what I needed, so I returned it. Hold and behold, this is a winner in my back!

To cut hard to cut materials. Very sharp, strong. I need a soft layer over my thumb to do much cutting.

Cuts through cardboard and thick plastic like that that comes with batteries or razors. Originally received as a gift. I have purchased more for my friends and family.

Sturdy pair of scissors!

I have only had this for about a month... bought it to replace a taped-up cheapie that someone broke during a package-opening marathon. At this price, I didn't really expect much, but I am very impressed so far. The action is perfectly smooth, ergonomics are spot-on, and the blades are so sharp that cuts are effortless. Mine are for general use around a media lab and office, so I am not a purist about "no paper" - I'll try come back and update this review later to comment on durability or any issues. (I already bought a second pair as a gift for a friend, who used them and was jealous.)

Exactly what I was looking for: a durable, sharp shear to keep in my garage shop for cutting tough stuff. Smooth action and cutting, tight tolerances, holds edge well and I can sharpen it. Recommended.

Very solid feeling scissor without any wiggle of two blades.Extremely sharp blades so watch your fingers as it will definitely slice your skin easily.Definitely buy one good quality scissor instead of keep buying from dollar stores.One think to note, blades had bunch of fine debris all over. Be sure to wipe the entire scissor clean before use.

I don't have a ton of miles on these yet, but after using my first pair around my shop for a few months, I got a second pair for my office - because life is too short to mess around with dull scissors.Besides their excellent functionality and comfortable grip, that black coating on the metal makes them look so slick.
