Performance Intake Kit for Jaguar S-Type and S-Type R 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007 2008 Models 8-15 HP+

Chris at Mina gallery did have some issues with the factory that builds the intake kit and the shipping time. He told me many times that it would arrive at a certain date, but it did not. Once the kit finally did arrive, you can see that the metal heat shield is hand made and has some rough edges, so be careful upon installation, you might cut yourself. The prior reviewer is absolutely correct in that there is another sensor in the stock airbox that is just left unconnected because the new intake kit does not have any connectors for it. I am not sure what it is for, but so far there has not been a check engine light come on. Be sure that this is something you really want to do, because for $255 it would seem like you may get a better quality kit somewhere else, but there seems to be nowhere else you can get it.

After receiveing the wrong unit for my Jag the first time I finally got what might be the right one.... the instructions are minimal and photo copied one sheet. The piece on the second go around had a location for the air mass sensor, the first did not, however there is another connection for a sensor in the air box which is not mentioned at all. I cannot tell much difference in performance but I have lost 2 to 3 miles per gallon.
