Expensive but worth it
Expensive, but worth it if you have a lot of fence to maintain that is far away from the energizer. The ability to turn off the energizer when working on fence a mile away is great. This is the second one that I've owned. The first one lasted probably 8-10 hard-working years (and that includes overwintering out in the pasture until we found it the next spring!). When it finally quit working altogether, I thought I could get along without it. I was wrong.

Quality product, handy as a shirt pocket
I bought one of these when I realized that I could turn off my fence charger from anywhere along the fence. I was already using a fault finder, so swapping my fault finder for this guy was a no brainier. I'm busy, I need to track trouble and make repairs to my electric fence quickly. This helps me achieve that goal.

It should be stated that the remote function will only work with Speedrite fence chargers that have remote capability.

When I received the control I discovered it was only a fault finder and not a remote for the fencer.
