Deluxe Materials DLMAC11 Pin Flow Applicator

The needle tip has a real tendency to plug up after use. Some have said to store the tipin water to keep it from plugging that did not seem to work for me. The only way I found to unplug the tip is to heat it very carefully because the glue is flammable. The other thing I have found is to only use glue that is made bye Deluxe and do not use it if you have used it with a brush because there will be small particles of plastic in the glue and that will plug the tip. I have tried acetone and everything else on Earth trying to unplug the tips and I could not get it to work until I heated the tip very carefully with an open flame. When it is working it is great.

Doesn't work. According to the instructional video on the manufacturer's website, you are supposed to drop the large end into your of bottle plastic solvent and it will rise up into the glass tube. After it fills you hold your finger tip on the needle end while you lift it out and flip it around ready for use. Maybe Deluxe Materials puts some magical ingredient into their Plastic Magic solvent to make this happen in the video, but I couldn't get my Plastruct solvent to rise up into mine. I tried removing the needle assembly and just dipped the glass tube portion into the bottle, which worked, but once it filled I could not press the needle back on firmly and it just leaked constantly when I flipped it needle down to use it. Ended up tossing it.

Puts the glue into the seam not on the seam where two surfaces join. Once you get the hang of it, no glue will run down the side of your model allowing you to utilize regular plastic glues on clear parts without fear of ruining the part. Excellent product.

Great product. Model builders need to be able to apply glue with uberprecision. This applicator does just that. No mess as well.
