I do permanent makeup & needed a reliable head lamp. My initial choice was between this one & another that was around the same price, I ended up choosing this one & have since thrown it in the garbage & purchased the other one that I should have gone with from the beginning. My complaints are as follows, the light itself is no where near the brightness I expected or need, the piece that holds the light has limited adjustability so in order to focus the beam correctly on the area of my clients face that I was working on I needed to position my head in an uncomfortable way for long periods of time or just do my best to get as much light from the outer perimeter of the beam. Aside from poor functionality, the lens completely fell off while I was in the middle of working on a client so I had to finish the procedure with a small square beam it was so embarrassing not to mention unprofessional & made my job 10x's harder, needless to say I immediately ordered the other headlamp & trashed this one. I don't like leaving negative reviews but I also wish I had known this before I ordered.

This LED Headlamp by Northfall Direct came in a little envelope wrapped in bubble wrap with three batteries. I quickly put these batteries inside and turned on the light. Oh boy it was bright! (which is a good thing when you are camping, hiking, and running etc) The first thing I noticed and I LOVED about this product is that how easy it is to change the batteries! No driver needed which is SO nice. You just have to push two buttons together at the same time to remove the lid...which is super easy and you can change the batteries. (three AAA batteries) The company site says LED Head lamp lantern has 75 hours of continuous light on 3 AAA Batteries so that is a long time that you can count on! There are There are 3 modes for the light, you press the button one time , you will get full brightness and press the button twice, you will get dimmed light, and you press the button three times, you will get flashing lighting. I think flashing light is very convinient when you are running so that cars can see you. (it is definitely bright enough for the drivers to notice you!) I am impressed with the product and I would recommend to my family and friends.

Even though Amazon prime does a 2 day shipping, I have found that that depends on how fast the sellers get their products ready . for shipment, so kudos for staying on top of your orders!I am pleasantly surprised with this headlamp. I have had about 5 other head lamps in the past, as we are a family of campers, hikers, and fishers. The straps are soft and easily adjustable. They also are able to be tightened to fit snug yet does not have any painful pressure points. The great part is that light is actually very bright, like a tactical flashlight (but does not reach as far, of course). You are able to pull the lamp lens forward and backward to have a really bright, small, and concentrated light OR have a less bright light that covers a bigger area. I bought this for my dad to use in his basement wood shop. The lighting is fairly decent down there, but he likes little extra light when he is working on certain projects. This has been great since it is adjustable and fits comfortably, but still snug. It is fairly light for a 3 battery head lamp. We are both runners and have different head lamps the we already use for running at night. I think this one is better suited for working on detailed projects than the others, but could still be used for running. He really likes that you can adjust the diameter of the light that's coming out in order to focus it or "zoom out" to get a larger area. It's very versatile. Also, a plus... batteries are included! Thumbs up for that. I received a discount in order to review this item, but the opinions are my own!
