Wrapped well to preserve freshness. Filters quickly.
User
excellent filter
The filter works fast enough. I use it for drinking and cooking. Tucson water doesn't taste very good!
User
Clear water tastes good.
I bought pitcher with blue filter and my water was clear and good. Then I tried the white filters and water was cloudy. I am back to buying blue ones even though they cost a little more.

Wouldn't Work
When I put the new filter in, they fit fine, but water wouldn't flow through it. I tried the second of the two longlasting replacement filters and it did not let water flow through the filter, either. I had put in several replacements. I know how to do it. Finally, I just put my old filter back in and IT let water flow through. Waste of money. I wrote to "product support." Amazon said it would pass it on to seller. Never heard from Brita.

Ajustan perfecto
Están bien, duran un poco más que los filtros convencionales pero no se si se compensa el precio vs el tiempo de desgaste

very impressed, fully cleared the old pipes and chlorine flavour from my nasty water. very pleased.
this filter is impressive. I moved to a new apartment and the water here is terrible, tastes like old pipes and chlorine, it was truly hard to choke down some water because of the aftertaste, even after running it through a normal Brita filter. I decided to try the elite because they filter out more and last longer but I never expected it to work so well. I gave my Brita pitcher a good scrubbing then installed this filter and the bad flavours are entirely gone from the water, I was surprised and impressed, absolutely worth the money, and I really like how they made it compatible with existing Brita products so I didnt have to drop money on a new pitcher too.

Excellent Filtration Filter
I just received these yesterday, immediately began to use one and I'm pretty pumped as to what a difference it makes from regular filters. My coffee most definitely tastes better, tea as well. Thing is, it's more than a significant difference between regular filters probably because it filters out so many more contaminants than the regular ones. Most definitely worth the price. I'm thankful also that it allows for important minerals to remain in the water. I notice these things because I also have a reverse osmosis system that I would never recommend due to the expense to start with, the difficulty changing those filters not to mention the high cost of the entire drinking system plus filters and they DO remove the minerals from the water. Hope this helps someone else. Five star plus.

Very very long filtering time
IThis blue “elite” filter is so incredibly slow. It takes literally hours for it to filter a half jug of water. So I have to work around it if I’m going to need water. I’ve had various filters in the past and none have ever taken this long to filter the water. I did try all the troubleshooting tricks but they didn’t make a difference. I had a hard time contacting customer service because the online form asks for a product code. I had thrown out the box so had no idea what the code was. When I phoned, my first call was cut off as soon as the rep came online. Then when I called back the person offered me a in store coupon which I declined because I saw someone else mention the coupon wasn’t accepted in any of the stores. So now they are apparently sending me a refund via snail mail which they said would take 3-4 weeks! I think their customer service is located in the US. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this product.

Lead in your water!
About a year ago, I received a notice from city hall that the level of lead in our neighborhood drinking water was too high. Now, I have filtered all the water I consume for decades now, but I have always used the standard Brita filter (the white one) in my 2-liters pitcher. I discovered on the Brita web site that the white filter does not filter out lead, so you need this blue one instead if your water contains it. It is more expensive but it it is worth it since lead is dangerous when consumed regularly (remember Flint, MI). A pack of two filters lasts my a year, since I live alone, and allow me to sleep in peace. Of course, it will also filter out all the white filter does, or at least that is Brita's promise. I believe in filtered water, just as good though less expensive than bottled; more work though!
