Wi-Fi 6 technology 2.4G 11ax 4x4/ 5G 11ax 4x4 4 Gigabit LAN + 1 Gigabit WAN, MoCA2.5 + LAN MoCA1.1 WAN Automatic Band switching between 2.4GH and 5.8GH Band 150% more WiFi range than G1100 Review: quite expensive but ready in a snap - Our old router directly attached to the Fios box had been quite old already. It still worked but during a time where online connection is essential and even a day without internet would be a disaster, we thought to upgrade that one. Our old box had several blinking lights on it and antennas sticking out. This one is taller but much simpler. Just one green light (which presumably would turn red in case of a problem). Its quite expensive but attaching it was in a snap. The ethernet connections were up immediately. I turn off the wireless as our home network goes first through an other firewall which then has the WIFI router. Also the WIFI however worked immediately (and would for me be a backup, just in case the other router would blow). I just wish they would make these boxes less expensive. For me it was worth it as it brings a bit more peace of mind. Review: WiFi doesnโt work - Donโt buy it they sell broken devices

Wifi signal not so so
Router works, however, the signal goes in and out frequently. It was easy to set up. But Iโm not sure if it works with the speeds it is supposed to. Will probably work better with a wifi extender.

Great improvement over the Fios G-1100
Our prior Verizon/Frontier Fios G-1100 router was very insufficient for our 4000 sq ft home, and kept dropping our wifi device signals even with two additional extenders. We have the total 3-in-1 service including internet, tv and phone using existing coax cables inside the house connected to the external fiber optic cable, so still require this type of router that has a coax jack, which limited our choices. Since switching to this router over a month ago, we've had no issues at all with dropped signals, and no longer need any extenders! I love it!

Verizon Claimed this Router was their Property
I purchased this Router from "K Brothers 2020" to replace a router that I had been "renting" from Verizon for 14 years and which was failing. It worked adequately for a couple of months, at which point I decided to upgrade my service with Verizon. Verizon claimed that the router was the property of Verizon and was sold to me illegitimately (essentially Verizon accuses K Brothers of selling "stolen" property) and required me to return it to Verizon to receive my upgrade. I am caught between the seller and two giant corporations (Verizon & Amazon) and probably will be out my $275. Before keeping a router not purchased (at ripoff prices) from Verizon, I recommend checking with them to be certain it is legitimately being sold, otherwise return it immediately - not only am I out the money, but it has taken me 12 hours of my time (and the nightmare is not over yet) to straighten out Verizon's incompetence. It was not worth it to save a few dollars!

Excellent product
Excellent router but I needed the E3200 EXTENDER. so it was a mistake so I had to return it.

Worked right out of the box.
Connected to Verizon immediately and updated its firmware. The same for the 2 extenders I added to it. Configure the router as you want it then connect one extender at a time. Both updated their firmware and no need to contact Verizon to activate it. Nice setup.

Not backwards compatible with Verizon WEB6200Q Extender
Ordered this to upgrade from a Verizon G1100 Gateway Router. The G3100 worked but was not backwards compatible with our Verizon WEB6200Q Extender. Neither Moca nor WiFi worked through the extender. I had to search the Web to find out others had the same problem. It would have cost another $175 to get the matching compatible extender (E3200) to complete our network. Also, be aware that the diagnostic Lan, Wan and Moca lights on the back of the G3100 don't stay lit full time. I initially thought I had a defective router due to this. Again, I found others had the same problem. The answer: The lights only stay lit for 20 minutes unless you push the front button to activate. Then only lit for another 20 minutes before dimming out. This is written into the program of the unit and can't be changed. It is not an option that can be set in the router admin. I found this extremely irritating and was one of the reasons I returned this unit (Is this Green power?).
