Worthless Junk! Waste of Time and Money!
I don’t know what these are made from, but it sure doesn’t look like peat. They’re smooth and glossy, I filled a couple with water, 48 hours later only 1/2” had seeped out. When trying to start seedlings in them, after about two weeks in a moist, humid environment, with daily watering, they turned into slime and disintegrated when touched.Every one of these I planted had to be removed to a fresh, USA made peat pot, because they literally fell apart. Don’t waste your money on these.Edit: The smell these make when they are decomposing is more like putrid, rotting animal flesh. It’s so bad I’m not going to put the unused ones in with my compost. They’re going to the public landfill, far from my garden!

Perfect for starting your seedlings for a garden
I love these little pots. They are perfect for starting my garden inside while its cold and will be able to plant them directly in the ground once is a bit warmer.

Great!
I can't be disappointed that they are too thick because it is as they advertise. And I love the fact that it is so durable. I just wish that they had a drain hole to compensate for the thickness. But my plants all germinated and the soil didn't mildew, so I would definitely buy again.

Good for very short term potting
These are great for potting short small things, and shortly after, planting in the dirt. If you water them more than once or twice they start to fall apart, but they are biodegradable so it’s just for short term potting anyway. They do somewhat dry up and get crunchy if you let them dry a lot between waterings, but again just plant them semi-quickly. They sure do biodegrade well though, even with just water it seems.

I am surprised they call these "peat" pots.
These "peat" pots do not behave like real peat. They do not absorb water. I have had some transplants in these pots for 3 days and they do not absorb water at all. I thought at first maybe they were made of a cardboard mix but even cardboard absorbs water. I am not sure what these are made of but I am not putting these thru my compost, they are going straight into the trash can.

Seedling Success
These arrived quickly and I used them the next morning to start sweet pea seeds that I’d soaked overnight. The peat pots held their shape over the following days. Today I’ll plant the seedlings and have bouquets of fragrant flowers for many weeks. I’m very happy with the product and will use them to start lots of more seedlings. Both simplifies was ensures successful plantings.

Great for starting seeds.
Great way to get a head start on your garden. And you don't have to remove the plants from the pot. Just plant the pot along with your vegetables.

Molds on bottom
Poked 3-4 small holes in bottom of pots for "drainage". Planted and placed in a slotted tray for "drainage". Pots still molded on the bottom while the tops dried out quickly. Would not recommend.
