Vector Watch Luna Smartwatch-30 Day+ Autonomy, 5ATM, Notifications, Activity Tracking - Rose Gold Case/ Black Croco-Elegant

I haven't had the watch for 30 days yet so I can't say if it can last that long, but from my limited time with it, I cannot recommend this product. The watch overall looks/feels great and notification tends to work 90% of the time, but that is actually where it stops. I have had the pleasure of using the watch with an iPhone and that was where all the trouble started. The app for ios is completely outdated. The watch no longer does weather forecast since they were bought out by FitBit. No offense to FitBit at all, but it seems like after they were bought out, there are no longer any updates to this watch or the app at all. The watch gets steps intermittently correct. The bluetooth is just awful. SInce I've had the product, the bluetooth has been connected about 50% of the time even when the phone is literally touching it. This was going to be such a great product and I had such high hopes for it, but I think after no more updates, I cannot seem to recommend this product at all considering it is all downhill from here.P.S. Customer service still works and they respond fairly quickly (24-48hr), but they will give you the "Thanks for contacting us" and "We are sorry to inform you." I got a lot of the latter because I ask about the functions of the watch that was advertised, but most of them no longer are supported. Please look elsewhere. This is not the watch you are looking for.

After some initial difficulty with the Windows Phone (10) Vector Watch App (version 1.7.1), I finally found that by swiping the text at the very top of the app -- where it says "Watch Maker" on the default start page -- only then will it scroll to the other screens for "Store", "Activity", and more importantly "Settings". In the settings section of the app, there are options to change 12/24 hour time as well as Metric/Imperial Units. So that solved my biggest concern for use, and I'm now rather pleased with the watch.I have a Windows 10 phone (Lumia 950), and the app could use minor improvement (as most apps on Windows could), but it does seem to get the job done. I was stuck for a while trying to figure out how to just change basic settings (like 12/24 hour time and metric/imperial units) until I looked it up online. The screenshots of the app on other platforms show that it should have a menu on the bottom, but the Windows 10 version is missing this UI feature. That was initially frustrating. However, after seeing another review for the watch on Windows Central, I noticed a screenshot of the Windows app showing partial text for "Sto..." at top right, which led me to believe I needed to somehow swipe to access the other sections of that app. With that revelation, I was then able to access the complete functionality of the app -- and therefore the watch. It's much better with more apps, streams, and settings! :)Before the Vector watch I had a Microsoft Band 2. I became used to the having the notification from my phone on my wrist, which I liked. However, I only had that watch 1 year until the rubber band started to crack. So I was looking for a smartwatch replacement that worked with Windows Phone. (I didn't mind the lack of fitness sensors, GPS, UV, heartrate, etc -- thinking that only having to charge once a month would be rather liberating.) I've only had a couple days now, and it's at 88% -- so I would suspect it should easily last weeks on a full charge. So that's cool for a smart watch that's always-on.The notifications seem to work pretty good so far. Sometimes I've noticed a several second delay between receiving on the phone and then seeing on the watch, but that's not a major issue. Also, I found the music controls will work, but only if I start music on the phone first, and then the artist and song appear on the Music app on the watch, and I can pause (middle button) and adjust volume (top/bottom buttons). So that reminds me of the Band, but is perhaps more tactile using physical buttons rather than swiping on a touch screen.

Stay tuned for a few tips below.I've owned a few pebble, pebble steel (not the time), and for me battery life is a priority over geeked out functionality. I bought the Rose Vector Luna on a very good sale, so the price was right. My review is based on a price that is comparable to a new Pebble Steel or other Android watch of comparable style to the Vector.PROS:First, battery life truly is amazing--my first out of box charge was rated to last about 28 days, with a lot of fiddling and tuning, testing and button pressing. The second charge is on day 17 with 55% left, to go an estimated 37 days. I'm a moderately low user--getting about 40-60 message alerts a day.Style is much nicer than the pebble. The watch is larger. It is about the size and look of the Moto 360 2nd gen 46mm. The ability to customize streams on watch faces allows me to choose simple ones with minimalist appeal, and quickly go to a face that has 6 or 7 streams to check the info I want at a glance. The always on watch is so much better than the color LCD watches which only turn on with the right flick or button press. The minimalist notification ring around the watch face is nice and private. The calendar bars (which can be turned off with the middle button) is a very nice feature that gives me quick review of my workday.TIP: If you roll your wrist *twice* to "glance" at the screen (like you might to auto-view a notification) the backlight will come on. Too fast or too slow does not trigger it. This is similar to how the pebble lets you shake the watch to activate the backlight.Hardware is firm, perhaps heavy (which I like, being a built man) and very elegant as well. It feels very sturdy, well constructed.TIP, the Moto 360 2nd gen 46mm glass is the same size, and tempered glass protectors for that Moto fit the Vector Luna just fine.App (vers 1.6.0 currently) is nice looking, and functions well enough. I found that at first it cut into my phone battery and was not pleased.TIP: I turned off permissions to the app for Camera, Location, Microphone. This solved the phone battery use. It's practically nonexistent for this app and data use went down significantly. I suspect it is the Location permission that was using data and eating battery.Support has been excellent for me. The first day I got it, I wanted to set up a weather stream and couldn't find my city. I contacted support and withing a few hours, they got back and told me that their cloud database (which has the cities) had been down, but they fixed it. Sure enough, I found my city and now all is well for weeks.TIP: Use the App to contact support rather than the website or direct email. They seem to respond quicker from the app.CONS:Compared with the Pebble, the Vector is missing a few features--1) the ability to reply on the watch to texts/messages with a pre-written quick text. I used that feature when I was driving or in meetings if I felt I needed to get a quick "busy now" message to a priority client or person.2) no compass. While I rarely used it on the pebble, I still miss it a little.3) Scheduling off time, or easily muting the vibrations from the watch itself. Vector needs to fix this. The idea that they regulate when the watch gets notifications and determine this for me through their "smart programming" is not ideal. So far, I have only been woken once by a notification. Once is more than it should be, since sleep is a priority.4) There's no Pandora app. The music app works well enough.Other minor issues:The bluetooth range seems less than with the Pebble, but it reconnects quickly and seamlessly.There is no option to review previous notifications that have been cleared.Email messages only display the sender and subject, and nothing from the email.The trades for battery life are well worth it. I hope Vector can fix (1) and (3) in future software updates. as for the compass, it's not a feature and I knew it going in.I won't go back to the Pebble now, with this kind of battery life, elegance in style and form. The Vector is a watch first. I have a good phone, and I don't need a battery-draining phone wannabe on my wrist.

When my second Microsoft Band had to be returned because the battery failed, and as I discovered that the supply of this product had dried up, I was forced to look for an alternative to use with my beloved Microsoft Lumia 950 Dual Sim. After a short research effort I found this “smart watch”; one of the few compatible with Windows Phone 10.The watch arrived in a high quality box and, after unboxing, I charged it through the magnetic USB cable (located in the small separate enclosure under the watch) in less than two hours.Meanwhile I downloaded the vector app from the Windows store. When the watch was fully charged I attempted to run the app to connect my 950 to the watch. The first problem was creating a Vector account. For me this repeatedly failed until I used a password which contained a capital letter, a number and a symbol. Unfortunately the app still would not run properly until I went to the settings in my 950. I opened “system”, “battery” and “battery usage by app”. I then tapped the Vector Watch (W10) icon and make sure that the app was “always allowed in background”. After this the app ran smoothly.The app opens on the “watchmaker” screen and at first I was confused as I could see no way to open “store”, “activity” or “settings”. I emailed Victor support who promptly told me that I should swipe the “Watchmaker” icon on the top left of the screen.I’ve now used to watch for a few days. On the positive side a number of people have complimented me on the product’s high quality appearance. This never happened when I wore the Band. I have enjoyed customising the watch face and finally settled on about seven different faces and apps which are very easily swiped through using the buttons on the side of the product. The watch has a stable Bluetooth connection so that new notifications appear on the watch after only a short delay. I haven’t missed a phone call or a text since I first put on the watch three days ago. E-mail turns up regularly. The watch battery has drained from 100% to 75% in the same few days.On the downside I have found that the vector app drains the battery on my phone at a rate of about 10% an hour so that I’m obliged to charge the phone each afternoon. This could be a significant problem when I travel. So far I haven’t missed the variety of sensors embedded in my Microsoft Band but I’m not an active person. Others may miss the heart rate monitor, GPS and altitude sensor.

Ich habe lange nach einer Smartwatch gesucht die wasserdicht ist und mit Windows 10 Mobil funktioniert.Mit der Vector habe ich das endlich. Sie funktioniert einwandfrei mit meinem Lumia 950XL. Die Verarbeitungs und Materialqualität ist Super.Auch wenn der Funktionsumfang beschränkt ist, macht sie alles was ich erwarte:Schrittzähler, Anfruf/Email/Whatsapp Benachrichtungen, und sie zeigt immer die Zeit an.Das der Akku so lange hält ist das I-Tüppfelchen.

Jeder sucht die perfekte Smartwatch. Auch hier wird er Sie nicht finden, aber für mich bietet Sie fünf wichtige Kriterien.1) SEHR SEHR LANGE AKKU Laufzeit. Hab Sie jetzt ne Woche und noch 70% Akku!!!!! So muss das sein und nicht anders.2) Wasserdicht. Ich hab die uhr immer an und will nicht aufpassen ob ich die beim Duschen oder schwimmen ausziehen muss.3) IOS Wird gut unterstützt.4) Whats App wird unterstützt5) Sie gut aus.Weitere positive Argumente:6) unfassbar viele Displaydarstellungen kostenlos zum runterladen. (Autolabes- BMW, ect., Exlusivlabes, Rolex, ect., Mondphase, ect. )Und die kann man dann teilweise auch noch selber verändern.7) relativ günster Preis (256,- mit Lederarmband. ) Dann nochmal 20,- für ein Sportband und gut ist.8) Gibt die Daten an Health App weiter.9) Bedienung nur über 3 Knöpfe. Rest über die App konfiguerierbar. da muss man nicht an der Uhr rumfummeln.Nun zu den Abstrichen.1) Ich hät gerne ne pulsmessung gehabt, abr da kann der Akku natürlich nicht lange halten. Aber letztlich bin ich bis jetzt ohne Pulsmessung ausgekommen und werd es auch in zukunft überleben. Ich nutz die Uhr zu 90% im Altag und nur zusätzlich zum Sport. wer einen Fitnesstracker sucht, sollte entwerder einen seperaten nehmen oder direkt eine andere Uhr. Hatte die Gamin Fenix 3Hr auch da und die war fast perfekt - nur VIEL zu GROß. Nicht unter dem Hemd oder mach enger Jacke tragbar!2) Sie könnte ein helleres Display haben. Man kann zwar die Beleuchtung einschalten, aber das ist eher lästig. Auch einen Bewegungssensor zum Zuschalten der Beleuchtung wäre schön. Den scheint sie zwar zu haben (manchmal geht das Licht bei Bewegung an, aber nicht in irgendeinerm erkennbaren Modus?)3) Wie bei vielen Smartwatches lässt sich die Vibration nicht einstellen. Es vibriert immer nur einmal kurz, was man durchaus mal nicht bemerken kann. Aber sie zeigt es im Display an (immer etwas anders, je nach gewählten Display), wenn irgendetwas angekommen ist.4) Armband lässt sich nicht schnell wechseln.5) Kein Touchdisplay sondern alles mit 3 Knöpfen. Kann aber auch ein Vorteil sein?!6) Anleitung nur in EnglischWie gesagt, für mich fast perfekt und ich werd Sie auf jeden Fall behalten.

Habe nach langem, sehr langem Suchen mehr oder weniger durch Zufall diesen Hersteller gefunden. Auf der Internet Seite ist mir sofort die rechteckige Uhr aufgefallen. Genau das, was ich gesucht habe.Leider gab es nur eine Rezension, die war aber extrem positiv und der Preis ist auch in Ordnung. Also bestellt, und nach 3 Wochen war die Uhr da. Deutlich kürzer als in der Bestellbestätigung angekündigt, aber immer noch recht lang. Das ist aber auch schon er einzige Punkt, den ich zu bemängeln habe.Die Verpackung ist extrem hochwertig, so kann man die Uhr durchaus auch zu Weihnachten verschenken.Nun zur Uhr selber. Mit dem beiliegenden USB Kabel hat das Laden ca. 3h gedauert. Nun läuft sie seit knapp einer Woche und der Akku zeigt noch knapp 75% Restlaufzeit an. Damit sind also die 4 Wochen durchaus drin.Meine Uhr läuft über ein Nokia 950 unter Windows 10. Ebenfalls ein Punkt, warum ich so lange nach einer passenden Smartwatch gesucht habe. Die meisten laufen nur über Apple und Android. Diese aber zum Glück auch über Windows.Die Installation der App lief absolut problemlos. Wer mit einem Smartphone / Tablet oder PC umgehen kann stößt hier auf keinerlei Rätsel. Die Oberfläche der APP ist einfach zu bedienen. Die Kommunikation mit der Uhr läuft einwandfrei. Der App Store ist übersichtlich und recht umfangreich. (Für mich müssen nicht alle 8 Phantastillionen Apps, die ich auf dem Smartphone oder PC habe auch auf der Uhr laufen!)Ich hatte zunächst Probleme, die Streams (Anzeige verschiedenster Daten wie Wetter, Börse, Nachrichten etc.) zum Laufen zu bringen. Hatte über die App eine Mail an den Kundenservice versendet. Bekam innerhalb weniger Minuten eine Antwort. Problem war schlicht und einfach, dass ich die falsche Version der App geladen hatte. Mittlerweile gibt es eine Windows 10 Version. Das halte ich aber eher für ein "übliches" Windows Problem, daher für mich nicht weiter tragisch.Mit der Installation der neuen App funktioniert nun alles. Ich bin überrascht, wie viele Apps es mittlerweile gibt. Auch die Anzahl der Zifferblätter (Watchfaces) ist sehr groß und hier findet jeder etwas. Außerdem lassen sich die Oberflächen immer noch individuell anpassen.Die Benachrichtigungen funktionieren perfekt. Alles, was mein Nokia 950 meldet, bekomme ich auch auf die Uhr. (Das lässt sich aber auch individuell festlegen).Bei der Fülle an Informationen, die man einstellen kann, bleibt für mich aber der Fokus auf dem Wesentlichen. Anzeige der Uhrzeit in Verbindung mit Benachrichtigungen (wie ich es eben einstelle) am Handgelenk. So kann das Smartphone im "normalen" Büroalltag auf dem Tisch im Lautlos Modus verbleiben und die lästige Angewohnheit, alle paar Minuten nach Neuigkeiten zu schauen, gehört damit der Vergangenheit an.Hinzu kommt, dass die Uhr noch recht "normal" dimensioniert ist. Sie verschwindet nahezu problemlos unter der Manschette des Hemdes oder unter dem Anzugärmel und bleibt damit diskret. Eben genau so, wie das ganze Konzept: Unaufgeregt, aber für mich, genau was ich gesucht habe.Die Verarbeitung der Uhr ist hochwertig. Ich habe die Variante mit dem Lederarmband. Dieses ist wie bei einer hochwertigen Uhr. Das Gehäuse aus Aluminium ist sehr gut verarbeitet und sieht sehr edel aus.Fazit: Preislich absolut im Rahmen. Die Funktionen sind top. Kein Schnickschnack. Genau das, wonach im gesucht habe. Eine hochwertige Uhr für das "normale" Geschäftsleben!

Die Uhr ist auf den ersten Blick genial. Akkulaufzeit ein Monat, kein überflüssiger Firlefanz, Benachrichtigungen bei eintreffenden Mails, Warnung, wenn das Smartphone zu weit entfernt ist. Und vor allem: App für Windowsphone. Volle 5 Sterne!!!Hat auch alles problemlos funktioniert ... etwa ein Monat lang. Nur dann kam das neue Windows Phone 10 1703 und aus war's mit dem Smartphone. Die Bluetooth-Verbindung klappt noch, aber die App findet die Uhr nicht mehr. Factory Reset auf beiden Geräten durchgeführt. Nichts.Und da Vector ja aufgekauft wurde, gibts keine Software-Updates mehr. Ich habe die Uhr zurückgeschickt, und Amazon ist kulant genug, mir den Kaufpreis zu ersetzen.

Llevo con el un poco más de un mes y estoy muy satisfecho.Es un reloj elegante y discreto.Es un reloj básico a nivel de seguimiento de actividades, que se complementa con la aplicación del movil que la maneja y se sincroniza cuando vuelve a estar cerca del móvil (en caso de usar solo el reloj).Pero yo lo necesitaba para medir distancia, pasos, calorías, etc y me va genial para eso.Tiene Geolocalización coordenadas, alarma, avisos citas calendario, whatapp, llamadas, etc. Todo con vibraciones.Cargué la batería al recibirlo el 7 de septiembre y lo uso todos los días, y consulto los whatapp y citas, pasos, distancia, varias veces al día y hoy 10 de octubre sigue con el 44% de batería. Yo creo que va a durar cerca de dos meses la batería.

ich hatte mich super auf die Uhr gefreut und habe diese sofort angeschlossen und mit meinem LUMIA 950 XL verbunden. Alles ging schnell und einwandfrei. Als ich die neue Vector Watch APP (W10) geöffnet hatte konnte sich die Uhr nicht mit der APP verbinden obwohl die Uhr in der APP angezeigt wurde.Nach dreimaligen Factory Reset (muss man auch erst einmal finden) habe ich dann auf der Vector Homepage gelesen, das die Verbindung zwischen Smartphone und Watch seit dem Win10 Mobile Update (bereits seit Mai 2017) nicht mehr funktioniert.Also an alle WIN 10 Nutzer: "bis auf weiteres nicht kaufen oder erst auf der Webseite von Vector checken ob es wieder geht"

Die Uhr gefällt. Sie sieht gut aus und ist durchdacht. Es gibt viele völlig verschiedene Ziffernblätter, da ist wirklich für jeden etwas dabei. Die Ziffernblätter können hinsichtlich der einzublendenden Informationen einzeln konfiguriert werden. Es können Schritte, Batt-Status des Telefons und/oder der Uhr, Kalorien, Termine, Datum und div. weiteres angezeigt werden. Benachrichtigungen kommen zuverlässig. Lediglich mit der Vorabanzeige von Tagesterminen gibt es ab und zu ein Problem.Warum dann nur einen Stern? Ich habe neun weitere Uhren in regelmäßiger (abwechselnder) Benutzung. Es sind 2 Titanuhren, der Rest ist Edelstahl. Keine dieser Uhren hat je eine allergische Reaktion ausglöst. Die Vector löst jedes Mal eine allergische Reaktion aus. Laut Aufduck des Bodens ist es Edelstahl. Allerdings kommen hier alle möglichen Legierungen in Frage. Jedenfalls nutzen offensichtlich andere Uhrenhersteller auch andere Legierungen. Zeit zum zurück schicken ist leider vorbei. Ich werde nun versuchen, dem Problem mit Klarlack beizukommen.

Vector L1-10-016 Luna Smartwatch (46mm) Edelstahl mit Leder Armband schwarz (OS Version 2.0.0)gekoppelt mit Windows10-Mobile (APP Vector Watch (W10))Mein Bauchgefühl: Die Smartwatch erfüllt meine Erwartungen im vollen Umfang, ich kann die Uhr also empfehlen!Die Fakten: Es gibt keine Bedienungsanleitung in Deutsch, in der Verpackung sind die ersten 4 Schritte um die Uhr in Betrieb zu nehmen beschrieben (Englisch). Die dazugehörige APP für das Smartphone ist ebenfalls nur in Englisch verfügbar. Bei der Installation der APP muss man "die richtige" App - passend zum eigenen Betriebssystem des Smartphones wählen - eine Prüfung oder ein Hinweis durch die APP erfolgt nicht. Die Kommunikation zwischen Uhr und Handy ist teilweise problematisch. Einstellung anderer "Faces" ist hierbei noch relativ einfach und problemlos möglich. Daten der Smartwatch (Schrittzähler, zurück gelegte Entfernung) hingegen werden zum Handy nur sporadisch oder lückenhaft an die Handy-APP übertragen. Die Auswahl der verfügbaren "Faces" ist riesig, da ist sicher für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Die Basisfunktionen auf der Uhr selbst sind recht einfach und logisch über 3 Tasten an der Seite möglich. Je nach verwendetem Face werden hier aber teilweise auch falsche oder abweichende Informationen (Schlaf-/Ruhezeiten, Kalorien verbraucht) dargestellt. Events (Termine aus dem Kalender) funktioniert perfekt. Ankommende Anrufe werden nicht signalisiert (evtl. hab ich aber auch noch nicht die richtige Einstellung / Konfiguration gefunden). Die Anzeige ist perfekt. Bei nahezu jedem Lichtverhältnis deutlich ablesbar. Die Akkulaufzeit ist der Hit. Bis jetzt (nach 2 Tagen) nicht mal 5 % verbraucht.Was ich auch noch nicht so genau verstehe: Die Bluetooth - Verbindung zum Handy besteht angeblich (laut Handy) nicht, aber Uhr und Handy tauschen sich lustig aus. Und im Status wird auch eine aktive Bluetooth Verbindung symbolisiert.Naja, bin kein Profi und muss auch nicht alles verstehen.Fazit: Die Smartwatch tut alles was ich brauche (Terminerinnerung, Alarm, Uhrzeit) obendrauf eine riesige Auswahl an "Faces" eine ellenlange Akkulaufzeit und perfekt ablesbar. Sicher hätte ich die Uhr zum normalen Preis von über 350 Euro nicht gekauft, aber ich bin sicherlich auch nicht der einzige der günstiger dran kommen kann.

I never liked the look of my square Pebble Watch, it looked too "gadgety". (The Pebble Time Round looked stylish, but didn't have the battery life or waterproof features of the Luna) The Pebble had a bunch of "apps" you could install, but I never found any of them very useful — if I want to actually *do* anything it's easier to just pull out my phone rather than playing with my wrist.With the Vector, you can customize the watch face quite easily by building your own graphics or selecting someone else's. Each watch face has places for text "streams", so you can add your own information (date, temperature, digital-time, phone battery%, GPS altitude, steps, next calendar event etc.) to any watch face.There are many nice touches in the design and operation of the watch that make it a stylish way to stay informed. As just one example, if a notification comes in, your watch vibrates and the circumference of the face fills in. No-one else can see the notification you just got, you raise your watch to your face or press the middle button to view it. Very handy if a text from your spouse or lover comes in during a meeting at work!The step tracking and sleep tracking are working very well.There are only a few "apps" available, and even though more will show up over time as the platform grows, I've realized apps aren't important on a watch. Just give me the information I want at a glance: the time, my music, my notifications, the temperature, other data "streams".(There are apparently some Bluetooth connectivity issues with some older Android phones, so you might need to take advantage of their 14 day return policy if you have an Android phone. I've had no problems whatsoever on my iPhone, connectivity has been more reliable than with my old Pebble.)
