Yes it is. My Leo's love them I have 1 in male tank and the females. Multiple access points make it good as a hide and as a bask spot

Will this work well in a 10 gallon tank for a leopard gecko?

It would be a tight squeeze. Also a leopard gecko requires a 20 gallon long tank at minimum (and they should not be housed together).
