This compass works well and feels accurate when compared with map directions and phone GPS. The markings are clear and easy to read, and the needle settles quickly without excessive wobble. It’s lightweight but doesn’t feel flimsy, and the baseplate design makes it useful for basic map reading and navigation. The lanyard is a nice addition and makes it easy to carry while hiking. The features were easy for any one specially for beginners. Good size and also great magnifying glass. Definitely recommend it.

Can’t find North
Utter rubbish! Can’t find North correctly-pretty basic requirement for a compass. It’s in the bin-didn’t bother sending it back because it would only get lost!

It did the job
It worked and did what it was supposed to but it needed a little hit and then quite a while to adjust. The bit on the outside was also very stiff.

Gut die reine Kartenarbeit und meine Zwecke ausreichend. Als Peilkompass, wenn man es ganz korrekt machen will, reicht er allerdings nicht aus. Das anpeilen ist eher semi. Wie gesagt für meine Zwecke und die Karte ist er okay. Für Anfänger kann ich ihn empfehlen.

This arrived at the start of this week and I have tried it in a number of places (including standing in the middle of a field away from all structures). It does not point to North and if I give it a shake, it points in a different direction. I compared it with digital compasses and they don't agree...Going to be sending it back. Very disappointed. Don't buy it!!
