Don't use on an airliner
Works well as long as its plugged in. Battery life is poor, about 2 - 3 hours. Even with a cold pack in the chamber to help, there's no change in battery life. Cold pack was still frozen when battery died, which is very strange.A disaster when used in an airline. Coach Class 12VDC outlets can't supply adequate current, causing the adapter to melt and ultimately smoke. Then one's seatmates start to freak out...Handy device but badly designed in my opinion.
