Great study guide
Lengthy study guide and good content to stay on track with goals.

Complete waste of money
This book is a journal with the same two pages repeated 105 times with generic goal setting questions. There is little if any content that would help passing an actual actuarial exam, the author didn't even bother to include a study question on each page or any content that would help passing the test.

Really helpful prep book for aspiring or current actuaries!!
I didn't buy this book from Amazon, but directly from the seller. I haven't yet used it entirely for an exam prep since I recently got it, but it's a really helpful book/journal to help manage the issues facing exam prepping and planning and helping you to better organize your time and keep motivation up, which for me has been really hard at times. Highly recommend it! Especially if you've had some trouble keeping on track with a plan. I thought that maybe this book would be only really helpful for exam P of FM and I'm currently studying exam IFM, so I wondered if it might not be useful for me, but from what it seems, it's actually very helpful for the non-preliminary exams as well!

It's not a schedule!
It's just a journal. It's not a step-by-step blueprint design to schedule your studying. However, the questions will help you analyze and strategize your approach.

Aids in tracking exam study progress and staying accountable
It's a good book to keep yourself accountable while preparing for an exam.

Meh. But might work for some people though.
Two things.1)This is a journal. I thought it's gonna be about tips and tricks. So I returned it.2)This might actually work for people who loves journalling and keeping track. So you can give it a shot, but make sure you know that it is kind of a product which can keep you on track for the exams.

Increased awareness during the exam!
I used this for my second actuarial exam, FM , and not only was I able to succeed, I felt more mindful during the whole process. It helped me organize my goals and be more aware about the small steps to get there. It is a great tool and I'm already using it for my next exam!

Not just for actuaries!
I found this to be a very helpful goal journal. I was not preparing for an actuarial exam but was able to systematically attack my personal goals AND stay balanced! I love the gratitude practice and the message of staying balanced each day; it really made a difference for my overall well-being. The jokes of the day, while cheesy, gave me a reason to start my day with a smile.

I know I didn't use this exactly for its intended purpose BUT
...I found it incredibly helpful to attack something that had bugging me for a while. I was able to go from not running at all to being able to run 10 km in 15 weeks. While most of it, in retrospect, was a mental hurdle, this book helped me along with the process by seeing daily progress. I think the daily gratitude practice and setting smaller mini goals (like stretching and eating well on off days) really helps. I will buy another for my next big hurdle, whatever that may be.
