very bright. plug n play. simple. wierd that it shines red as the stock housing is red. but it works.

If you want a brake/tail light that can be seen a mile away then this IS the one you want, compared to the Custom Dynamics LED Brake/Taillight the OEM Yamaha brake/tail light is like a 0.05c candle

Truly plug and play, as they say. Much, much brighter than the stock bulb, and this unit will plug right into the existing socket, which means that even I was able to install it. All things LED tend to be overpriced, but this tail/brake light piece is worth the money, especially since it makes the bike and rider much easier to see, even during the day. I've spent the past several years wondering if I should buy it, which was silly on my part. This is a good buy, very much worthwhile.

Wrong part sent not sellers fault , Amazon has the listing wrong saying part will fit and it doesn't. But stellar was great and allready sent correct part love it

What a great product. Easy install, excellent quality. The visibility is amazing. The fact that they took the plate light into account is great. A few other options on the market have no option for the plate light. This is a drop in mod with excellent results. I commute in heavy traffic daily and wanted a more noticeable option for my brake light. My next install is a modulator for strobing the brake light.Edit: My bike is a 2000 V star 1100 Classic.

Excellent design! Fills the entire brake light housing to cram as many LEDs as possible on the board. As a running light, it is much brighter than stock. When you hit the brakes, it is amazing! This was for my girlfriend's bike, bought a second one for mine. We feel much safer when we ride, day or night.

Incredibly bright. Much, much brighter than stock. My personal favorite part of this LED board is the location within the tail light. Originally, the sun light would overpower the bulb due to the top "window" for the license plate illumination. This board sits nearly flush with the tail light lens so that the sun does not hit the LEDs and wash them out.

I wish I had known about this product years ago. My taillight has never been bright enough and now it's perfect! I even had a police officer follow me for miles just to let me know that my taillight was out- no it wasn't but what good is it if it can't be seen! Now it can be seen!! Intallation was so simple and quick. Great product!!!
